Oh shit, I was about to tell you how to upgrade but what’s this about another $100?
No, really though, we will provide a way for existing key-holders to be credited for upgrading to higher tiers via KS. Essentially, you’ll be paying the difference and then emailing us. We’re working on an information release about that.
Looks kickass Bruno! Time to go tell paypal to take money from my bank account. For the love of god please tell me the song in the video is in the game. If not please add it or at least tell me what its from. ARPGs could definitely use more metal when appropriate.
Someone needs to discover the secret passage in TQIT.
As for the Kickstarter video, it looks and sounds great to me. I like the specific mention about how the game development has hardcore players in mind.
Cool so if we’ve already prepurchased the legendary we can use that 48 dollars to upgrade another tier if we want? Since I’ve already paid for the game it will feel like I haven’t bought anything yet because of how long it’s been. I’ll trick my mind into thinking my wallet never got used!
Now then, I’ll have to set aisde some extra $$$ for Grim Dawn’s kickstarter. I’d like to see a follow-up video where Arthur’s able to say that he’s got more than “two-full time dudes” working on the game.
Haha, yes, the Bang Camaro guys let us use their “Rock of Mages” song. If you didn’t know, one of the lead guys in Bang Camaro, Bryn Bennett, was the Lead Programmer on TQ. He’s actually trying to start his own company now as well. http://www.facebook.com/EerieCanalGames
I just see a mistake in the $200-pledge with a beautiful “from from”.
I’ll lovely add the $162 to have this one with international shipping as soon as a get the walkthrough to back as a “early” keyholder (2 month !! :D).
I’m really waiting to have something exclusive to the before-kickstarter supporter too… if it’s possible.
Edit: I’d add two things that could be important for me, so probably for other people :
A word about localization : is this include and for which language ? If no, what further goal has to be achieve to have it ?
A word about the next goal if $280k, or just a word to say that it will be something further.
And kick it forward, unless you hate B.Fargo (he’s pretty annoying in its videos yes)…
“We still intend on investing in future Kickstarter projects but Kickstarter.com asked us to take the badge down, due to some confusion.”
I added something to the bottom just saying we pledge to contribute money to worthy future indie projects, whether they be on Kickstarter or elsewhere.
Very cool. I’ve already got the legendary one (I mean who wouldn’t).
I probably wouldn’t upgrade any further, but I’ll give you some money for free once this goes live.
Well I’ll let you guys decide. Do I pledge $18 and ask for nothing in return, or pledge $18 and get another copy of the game? Which ever you think will help you guys out more, count me in. PM me a response (default action will be free money if I hear nothing).
Keep up the amazing work. I’ll pledge as much as I can on my limited budget :):):):)
I think our names in the credits should go more slowly than these “late comer” kickstarter folk!
Also, just want to comment on the video. It was outstanding but I noticed something I haven’t noticed before which really put a smile on my dial. The screen shakes a bit on certain hits. It was awesome. That is all.
I say you might as well get another key if you’re going to pledge anyway. You should get something for your money and once the game is developed, the keys themselves don’t don’t really cost anything to send out and you never know when you’re going to need an extra key for a LAN party or to force your girlfriend / wife to play.
You will lose many people’s sympathy by providing so many exclusive items and offering free DLCs for higher tiers. Look at the wasteland 2 forums if you don’t believe me.
Very nicely done! The project page itself looks good. Well thought out and structured nicely, I can’t think of anything that could use any kind of improvement off the top of my head. The information offered up in the text is extensive but not exhausting and captures what I believe to be the core of Crate and its development. The emphasis that you put on the heavy fan-base input is great, that in itself will probably bring in quite a few funds!
Overall, very well done, especially with the video. I have watched (I think) every video you have released thus far and yet I found the game-play you showed still had me captivated! Again, great work and well done.
