So, honestly I am addicted to the early game in most games, and this one is no different, I restart constantly as soon as things seems to start to get stale/grindy.
My problem here seems to be there is a rather large gulf between T1->T2 and T2->T3.
What can I do to get my population past the low 100’s easier? I have plenty of housing, I have homesteads with vacancies, a few schools, farms, orchards, mines, plenty of work for people to do, general happiness is 1 or 2 chevrons to the positive all the time but I seem to stall out at T2 even after I build most/all of the T2 buildings and hover around 85-120 settlers even though I meet all the other criteria for the upgrade.
Any advice is appreciated, I see quite a few people posting images of their end-game town and I’d like to get there too but I always get bored and start over because I cant seem to get past that hump.
I’d make sure the houses you do have are upgraded by looking at the desirability and adding decorations with the green arrow up on them nearby to upgrade the ones that aren’t far off 40 or 65 and anything bigger make sure you place things like large statues in the direction your hoping to expand your settlement so you continue helping desirability as you expand
