I’m starting from a class/build fantasy perspective looking for what might be fun. I don’t know enough about the current state of the game to know what is viable and not viable, as well as what is going to be squishy and not squishy. I also don’t have end game gear.
As the title states, I’m looking for beginner friendly guides for the following combos involving the new Berserker class:
- Dreadnaught (+Demolitionist)
- Mystic (+Occultist)
- Evoker (+Arcanist)
- Reaver (+Nightblade)
- Primalist (+Shaman)
- Runekeeper (+Inquisitor)
- Veilwalker (+Necromancer)
- Zealot (+Oathkeeper)
So far I’ve found a guide for a cold Were Raven Evoker in the Crate Entertainment official forums ( [FoA 1.3.0.3] Beginner build guide Cold Caster Evoker with the Awakened Eastern Set ). I’ve only started a char and leveled it to 9 just to get a feel for how Werewolf plays. I’ll follow the above guide to get a feel for Were Raven as well, but I’m not sure if I want to commit to that combo yet. I’ll probably make a decision about the above cold Evoker build at about char level 20. I’m also interested in a Chaos based Aether Ray Evoker.
- For Dreadnaught I’m looking for gun/crossbow based ranged play or some bomb/grenade throwing action. If there is a Werewolf options I would be interested in that as well.
- For Mystic I’m interested in a pet build, Werewolf Mystic (not sure how this would work), a ranged gun/crossbow Mystic, and a chaos based Were Raven Mystic build.
- For Reaver I’m interested in a melee Werewolf bleed/pierce build.
- For Primalist I’m interested in a pet build, a ranged caster build, a melee Werewolf build, and possibly a ranged gun/crossbow build. A melee Werewolf build I suspect would probably involving totems.
- For Runekeeper I’m interested in cold caster and choas caster Were Raven builds, and a gun/crossbow build. There may even be a melee Werewolf option, but I lack info. on it.
- For Veilwalker I’m interested in a pet build, a cold Drain Essence Were Raven build, and a melee Werewolf build.
- For Zealot I’m interested in a melee Werewolf build. There may be other options that are interesting but I lack info. in this area.
