I have leveled as “chaos werewolf” and described my process in this “Ice King” build thread towards the end.
(No need for “Kraken” devotion for you as i was going with 2Handers. Your 1Handers are fine, but you can go 2Hand anytime if you happen to get a good weapon. Or refarm new 1Handers with higher level.)
My Recommendations:
You could skill earlier towards “Possession” from Occu giving you flat chaos and dmg absorption.
To cut it short… here the Grimtool with changes i made.
Go first for “Abomination” before reaching out to “Dying God”
Ghoul is a must as “circuit breaker”
Behemoth fits also in there as well
Should feel much tankier this way.
(You hadnt skilled “Untamed Rage”. Its a “1 point wonder”. No need to max “Form of the Beast” that early without profiting from the raised caps. Swapped points around. Go max Possession first)
