Looking for Werewolf advice

I probably will. I am the type who can’t build a character worth anything and have to follow guides. I look for things I want to play and then play them. Building a character from scratch is a effort in futility for me…my brainpower just can’t wrap my head around the intricacies that the items/devotions/skills play off of.

Thanks for all the replies. I am definitely using the warcry skills as well as Werewolf.

Figured out how to upload my build. Definitely have a long way to go still.

How does this look for a final allocation of skill and devotion points?

I am no expert. Nor will I ever claim to be one in this game or any game for that matter (with the exception of Megaman 2) but I am worried that you will get destroyed by having so little resistances. I know the question was for skill and devotion points but the resistances immediately caught my eye.

haha nice. GET EQUIPPED WITH METAL-BLADE

Once you got that weapon, the game was over lol.

Ahh, nostalgia. I grew up playing that game…first game ever too and fell in love with it and the X series.

If you want to level with the “Voldrak” weapon i would just go Savagery/Upheavel build without werewolf. There is no phys RR in both masteries, so it will be rather difficult to farm endgame as a physical build. Focus more on bleed damage and you should be fine using “Troll Bonecrusher” as a weapon. Bleed RR is on both masteries.

You are level 36 come back when you are around the 70ies for feedback again. Focus on pierce and bleeding damage as of now. Here your lvl 36 Grimtool, i ve taken all the cold damage skills out and progressed towards the “exclusive skill”. Take “Ghoul” as a devotion as a safeguard when you drop low.

Here are some endgame primalists from the theorycraft thread:

Fenris pierce by romanN1 (werewolf)
Jarldin Fury bleeding by Legrad (non-wereform)
Eldrun lightning by _maverick (wereraven)

You could end up with something similar to these guys

If you don’t have farmed up gear already, I would highly suggest farming up some Dermapteran slicers. They’re easy to get and would help focus your damage spread back to Pierce and Bleed. You’re at the level where you should be encountering them. They would easily carry your damage needs for quite some time.

И не взят знак поглощения с отжором, конверсией и хорошим уроном…

I stuck it out with bleed in the end. Once I made it past the undead in Old Arkovia I had a much better time!

When I unlocked Leap I started following @Quixotikx’s advice to burst more. Curse of frailty a target > Leap to engage > Cry for even more shred > Rip and tear and evade to reposition. Feels good.

I was lucky enough to get a Dermapteran Slicer with +2 to Werewolf, I expect I’ll hang into that for a long time.

For SSF, if someone isn’t sure about their second mastery yet and does want to level as a Werewolf. I put together a kind of early game MI green’s and just generic greens you can aim for. A kind of absolute barebones baseline to improve from. I re-ran some areas just to make sure, and it face tanked Zaria, Bolvar, Rutnick without any issue. Just don’t stand in a pool of Aether/Chaos/Bleed/Acid while fighting. I would be wearing a manticore waistguard but all of mine are 55+. Would also be using a second Untamed Fangs slicer but the affix is uncommon. It’s really just to show that you can use whatever you find and a bit of early game target farming. Namely, Cronley’s gang for the Murder shoulder/chest armor(not the aether or fire ones), Pine Barrens for the Manticore belt. Infested farms and Hive Queen lair for the Dermapteran Slicers. There are also a few good faction blue rings/amulet/medal/gloves you can pick up if you somehow got really unlucky with your rings/ammy/medals. I should have Ghoul by this point but I was playing with Assassin’s Mark.
Also, if you do get lucky and don’t need to waste good component slots just to stay overcapped. Vicious Spike and Dread Skull Components look really nice for a ton more pierce damage.

Notes*
If you get lucky you could find weapons like a Bladefury(lvl 30 for base 50 for empowered) epic two handed sword(easy enough to totem farm), a Legendary Silverbolt(lvl 50) crossbow. Butcher of Burrwitch(lvl 50), Brutallax(lvl 58), etc. Blade Dancer’s handguard gloves, Golemborn greaves or Obsidian stompers for boots. Deathwhisper leggings. Packla’s Visage, etc,

I’ve been working towards something like this chaos werewolf so far, I’m level 44 with an unoptimised bloodreaper set chaos build (I really should have taken owl as the first constellation) and so far it works quite well and is really fun and easy (just keep left click pressed - feral claws - on enemies).

(Edit: this is an adcth berserker build that will later dual into demolitionist.)
