I think it would have helped if it came up on steam. Like say the “what’s new” bar where I found out about the last one I bought if I remember right. Put it this way, I was keen, then blinked and now it is no longer a thing. I think it’s worth doing again and letting people outside of this forum know about it.

It was on the Steam GD forum under Events & Announcements, Crate posted it on their Facebook GD and Farthest Frontier pages and I assume it was also up on their other social media sites, it was on the GD and FF discords so where else would you suggest they put it?
It’s not really what I meant. What I am saying is that I was taken by surprise. Sure, it’s on me, but the weird part is that I was keeping an eye out given I was legitimately looking forward to it. I signed up and everything. I get the feeling other people may have been, too as it seemed to happen very quickly. That part is likely just me though, as I rarely log in. Believe me, it’s not a criticism of anybody, least of all Crate. This lot is one of the very few companies I still have any kind of respect for. Honestly I just wanted a buddy for lil’ Cthulhu over here.
Anyway. I tell you what though, if the Gazer was to make a reappearance I doubt you’d have trouble finding homes for them. The pattern for them already exists, too I guess, so perhaps a lower volume of them could be pushed through. Maybe even coincide it with the coming DLC when people are paying more attention.
I know, I know. Too little, too late. Kinda bummed out though, innit.
