Manticore Deathstalker regular hero from the new dungeon, this beast is insanely strong against melee, damn, what steroids did Crate give it, and it’s not even a Purple boss.

Aura of Darkness
A creature of darkness is hunting you, shredding your resistances.
28 Meter Radius
113 Bleeding Damage per Second
-25% Total Speed
-60% Light Radius
-16% Physical Resistance
-16% Poison & Acid Resistance
-16% Bleeding Resistance
Those 16% used to be 25%.
How does that guy get all this monster data? Did he make a program that extracts it from asset manager so nicely? I tried checking there for older monsters and boy is it hard to understand what’s what.
Btw, I see the Deathstalker drops a blueprint that lets you summon him/her as a pet? Neat, another Manticore pet… pity again that it scales with player bonuses, not pet bonuses.

I think he is life leech immune or close to immune, thats why he seems so stronk.
Before he was nerfed he burst my belgo for 12k hp with warcry on and over 3K DA:D I didn’t die but…wtf?!
A combination of RR aura and above average DoT power. If your poison resistance isn’t slightly overcapped you’re at risk.
Can he debuff DA as well? Would be so fun to find him in crusible in company of Benny, Anasteria and a bunch of green-puke heroes.
BTW do he cast his debuff, or its secondary effect of projectile?
Looking at the db i can’t really say what caused such a massive surge in dmg, even with pre nerf rr.
Do manticore count as Dual-wield ?(Dual-weild pawns, lol)
I guess, but so does Grava, i think, and that was more than Grava level of burst dmg:D
It’s so hilarious watching this crying about this little kitten when a real monster from our worst nightmare a living right near them

This is purely insane
For a hero monster Deathstalker is really powerful IMO. That burst of damage is a bit unexpected surprise. One of my build “peacefully” walked towards that creature and suddenly that build was in Devil’s Crossing…
Yes, for melee, That Basilisk is the REAL boss of the new dungeon. It’s been my opinion since I first stepped into the dungeon. I had to use BB with wave 150 ready belgo and even died once
But as stated above, the basilisk is purple and the stalker is a normal hero that is very strong
Yeah, he has 108% life leech resist, making it immune to life steal. That’s more annoying than anything, specially for builds that rely quite a lot in life steal.
Weird, I always facetank the guy without ever dropping under 70% HP.
Deathstalker and Gargabol are the ones giving me real buttclenching moments.
Weird right? I facetanked gargabol without ever moving away but got ruined by that thing. I think he was nerfed a bit since testing. That fumble tho
The maintainer got Beta access to the patch (on beta phase test, obviously) and can only release the db update on the site once patch went live.
Not sure about that dude being a “real monster”. I facetanked thru all of them with two of my melee characters. Purple monsters never really posed any threat, it’s just one of them was insanely fat (or just resistant to elemental, dunno). Just Gargabol in his second stage made my life miserable couple of times.
This kitten tho managed to burst thru Blast Shield, then Mark of Torment, then proced Ghoul before I killed him. With my Druid after all of the procs were used (including mirror), I had to awkwardly retreat to pop Aether Cluster. If he is even at 80% of his power in Crucible, and mixed with someone like Ben’Jahr, Korvaak save us all.
Asset Manager is a frontend to database.arz (more or less). All info is in there, so I assume that is where he reads it from
Yes? It’s extracted directly from the game files, hence why Grimtools can be updated to new game versions so quickly. Asset Manager is just one of many ways to view those files.
