Many ideas after 120hours

First, MAP.
When I have more than 300 people in my town, it always take a few seconds to move the camera from one side of the town to another side. Give me a minimap or any way to make this work.

Some suggestions:

  1. Change the “unpathable terrain” on mountains to “dangerous terrain”

Sometimes characters can still climb on the mountains which they are “unpathable”, but they can’t make their way down. They are trapped and starve to death on mountains. This also happends when I want to build wall on the edge of a high mountain.
My suggestion is: when characters climb on the “dangerous terrain”, reduce their movement speed and take a risk of falling which brings them fracture or even death, to instead of making those strange situations that I even do not know if I should call them “bugs”.

  1. Increase the size of “flatten terrain” or give us a tool to make winding roads up the mountains.

  2. Let us to build walls on more inclined slopes instead of changing the terrain .

  3. Check the prices, the price of 1000 beer is equal to 500 iron, which is ten years’ production of iron. Do I really need to build any foundry for iron?

Want to add

  1. Proficiency.
    My 20 years basket worker has a same proficiency like his first time. Try to make people work better if they doing a same job for years.

  2. Boat
    Fishing on water. Build houses on Island. Deal with merchant ships.

  3. More animals
    Bird, rabbit, chicken, duck, pig, sheep. Cats and dogs. Lion, leopard, tiger, snake, crocodile, elephants, panda. We don’t really care if these could live together on one map don’t we?

  4. More plants
    Corn, potatoe, rice, cucumber, onions, broccoli, mushroom. Flavor, chili, plantable medicinal roots, cotton, dye, silkworm breeding. Oil pressing plants. Bamboo, which gives wood and food both.
    Cherryblooms, lotus, and flowers. To make city beautiful. Coffee, cocoa, tea. More fruit. Not only the trees. Grapes, watermelon, strawberry, pineapple, banana.

  5. Restaurant and cake shop.
    Using different recipes to cock better meals.

  6. More recipes for weaver buiding.
    Better clothes. Fashion and clean.

  7. Paper work and statistical system.
    After we build paper mill, and ink factory, we can build statistical office.
    Statistical office allows us to record the growth and consumption curves for every resource, and awear how many things have been used and created for every facility.

  8. More entertainment
    Sports field, playground, swiming pool, toymaker, musical instrument manufacturers, flower shop, firework shop. Or the “bad” ones if you want: casino, brothels.

  9. Religious
    This could be complex. Not every religion wants church. If you want to add this system, you may have to make diffirent religions facilities for players to choose. It’s a big work.
    Or just try to creat your special one for this game, that’s more interesting for me in this way.

  10. Festival
    For the late game, let players spending food and other things to make a yearly festival. Festival can increase the entertainment, attract immigrants and even strengthen the determination of soldiers to protect our city. The effect depends on the amount and kinds of things spent for it.

  11. Castles, Palaces and Wonders
    Make them magnificent.
    Farming Game!
