Master of Death necro exclusive skill

Master of Death necro exclusive skill could get % physical damage on it. I was just making physical AAR binder and this change would fit quite nicely…

Just tried the Spellbinder for the lulz and looks actually quite competent. My guess is SR38 capable. Only like 200 % damage behind Battlemage or Templar. Cold or acid damage would be OP on Master of Death but physical damage would not be… It is a pet skill but still has player bonuses…

And you don’t want here the other exclusives because they give you nothing meaningful compared to Master of Death.

Also tried a physical AAR Warlock. Also looks good. I also think that it is SR 38 capable. It has good damage absorption but lowest damage…

Here is Templar for comparison and the latest version of my Battlemage that I have. BM is tested in SR 40 and Templar might also be SR 40 capable… Templar has good crit damage and healing increase… And BM is the best overall imo.

Phys builds went down after the converted armor change and need whatever support they can get anywhere… The Master of Death change seems quite harmless to me.

If they can do SR 38 they really don’t need any boost?

Well, sort of, but if one build using basically the same gear etc can reach SR40 regularly, variations on it should also be able to do the same.

Anyhow, I think it should be Spectral Binding that should support Physical Damage%, though it should only be a bit less than the Aether Damage%, say 200% at hardcap? Simply because there are a whole bunch of physical builds out there using Necromancer, but they’re all more limited by Necrogear vis boosting PD% up further.

Though adding it to Master of Death could also work, since that would be like Primal Bond skill in the Shaman Mastery. And often other builds like to use Master of Death anyhow due to it’s +OA% and decent chunk of vitality resist. As often finding OA on certain mastery combos vis gearing can be “interesting”.

Spectral Binding is an option but I am not sure if it would made for example some Death Knight or Opressor builds too OP. Putting % phys damage on Master of Death would compete with the other exlusive skills and would thus be used mostly only in the case of non phys masteries like the Binder I posted. And they need help the most.

Yeah, I can agree with that. Also gives a bit more flexibility with physical damage builds using Necro for exclusive skills. Because usually you’re going to go for the one that supports physical damage over one that doesn’t. Simply because stacking PD% can be hard for some builds otherwise.

Which build is that? Just curious :stuck_out_tongue:

Templar and Battlemage.

Sure it could, but why should it?

Also SR38 means the build needs nerfs not buffs.
