Micro-management of some game mechanisms

Hello.
I’ve noticed that many things require micromanagement (but maybe I’m wrong and it’s just me who didn’t understand anything. It’s always possible when you have a single digit IQ, as in my case …)

For example, building maintenance. If at the beginning, with a few things placed on the map, micromanagement is possible, after some time it becomes frustrating: I constantly go from one building to another to perform checks / modifications / adjustments which then, on the second round, require others checks / changes / adjustments and, after a while, it gets out of hand and I can’t take care of anything else …
Is this a problem with my single digit IQ? Am I wrong something? Or both? A lot of micromanagement frustrates me …

Actually I thing that’s one of the main selling points of the game. I see it as survival city builder (a bit hardcore time to time). Trust me if you want to just place building and they are managed by themselves it would be very boring… it would be SimCity…

Once ifigured out that having a good stock of labourers and builders helps with maintenance then all is well. I use the people menu a lot to reduce / increase productivity as needed.

The productivity / consumption graphs can help you manage your city’s needs

Thank you.
I’ll try. However, micromanagement does not satisfy me very much …
