I’ve played lots of Factorio and middle clicking (Mouse3) on stuff to select it as blueprint saves so much time compared to navigating menus. Once I built something once I’d essentially never look for it in the UI again as it’s much clearer in my head where a building is on the map than in the menu.
I know Minecraft and Oxygen Not Included have this shortcut too. Felt weird not having it in a modern building game
