i have a question about cornucopia, that is supposed to be included in this mod.

When i go the 0.2 changlogs, it’s written for instance :

Tree of Life
*Affinity Cost: 20 primordial/7 order -> 15 primordial/5 order

But IG, the cost of the devotion is the same.
This is not the only example.

Also, how do you manage confictual changes in different mods that tweaks existing classes ?

ill update the first post later today or tommorrow with in depth details of what i’ve changed and merged. i have a list and i dont merge class changes for classes 1-6. every freaking modder thinks they will tweak those classes. i say nay.

When hosting multiplayer, is it required to have the DAIL in the name? My friend and I are trying to play on LAN, just the 2 of us, and I cannot see his game in the list.

All standard network troubleshooting steps were performed. We even went as far as mapping drives to each others computer to verify connectivity.

And what about constellation changes?

not sure on the lan problem.name doesnt matter for functionality.

constellation changes are in because they didn’t change the mapping in a way that i couldn’t undo

Is there a way to fix this on our own? Loading 20 reset all my quests which is a bummer since I was almost done with the game. I see in the non-mod game, my quests are still there. Ideas?

We performed multiple reboots and now we can see each other. We are at a loss but we kinda expect this from GD multiplayer in general.

MP is buggy as heck in GD yeah…

protip: if you are using multiple NICS -> disable the ones that aren’t needed for playing GD multiplayer before loading GD. i found that i would get booted on area trnsitions if i left all of my nics active. if i diable all but one then im able to go through area transitions on games i join.

I have found a way around this. I backup my character and then load the game which does the reset. I then exit completely, copy the backed up chacater over the one in C:\Users<user>\Documents\my games\Grim Dawn\save\user<character> - this resets the now updated save and this works most times - see below for some fiddling which may be required…

On some updates, for reasons I do not know, you will see directories with the names like Maps_world001.map (which was the latest one created) or levels_world001.map (was the previous versions directory).

If there is a new directory created in the character save folder, which is not in your backup version of the save then make sure you copy the contents of the old level_ or Maps_directory into the new one and your progress is returned.

Hope this helps. Not sure how to do this if you have steam save activated but I suspect if you go to where they are being stored and do the same it will work as well, I haven’t tested that yet.

I’m asking, becouse if I remember correctly, one of version of DAIL was modified, after some voices(in this and grimmest thread itself either), that were too many/too hard mobs.

Personally I have a lot of problem with heroes pack, beside that, sometimes are ridiculous situation, when desktop is literally "flooded"by mobs,bombs etc.

ps. scripts.arc option from DAIL readme/ vanilla enemies is about this

almost all quest bosses are going to show up all sorts of different multipliers and toned down the amount of fodder
(from original Grimmer and Grimmest thread)? Is it about skill’s enhancement for only quesy bosses or all of hero packs? What particulary do ā€œscripts.arcā€/grimmest original itself?

Isn’t there a way to return to town in the RIFT mod after killing the boss ?

So I try to leave the game since i’m stuck in the rift, and then when i click on exit to main menu the game freeze and crash my PC on black screen, evertime… its damn annoying

I love the extra hero/boss spawns but i’m getting 5 fps on these huge trash packs. A computer friendly version that keeps the extra boss mobs would be amazing.

It’s strange but i played the entire game a few times without the mod on all high settings with basically no fps drops. I turned it all down to low and it’s still 5 fps on many packs with the mod.
