[Mod] Reign of Terror

So I updated the game to 7.1.0 but the game still shows as 6.1.5
I this normal or did I not update the mod correctly? Thanks

Minor issue that doesn’t effect anything other than imersion, i made a runeword item “Serenity” spear, and the holding way is the opposite, when i attack normally i attack with the tail not the tip of the spear, when you throw it doesn’t matter though, i don’t know if it’s the only spear that went wrong. I mean mercenaries are holding the spear like the way i do, somehow when they attack, the animation is correct. i would post scrrenshot but it’s too fast for me to do so. Oh yeah the valkerie is doing fine by the way just like the mercenaries.When we stand still it’s the same, when we attack it’s different. Some normal spears and javlins are decent, the tip forward, even the glaive i use to make the runeword is ok.Ha Ha, both weird and funny in a way i admit.

did you skip 0.7.0.0?

You must have extracted 0.7.1.0 into incorrect folder, otherwise you would be prompted to replace mod files and see correct version in-game. Check your ReignOfTerror folder whether it has another ReignOfTerror folder inside since that’s probably the most common mistake new players make when installing RoT for the first time.

Also, make sure to install mod files in the correct order: 0.6.1.5 -> 0.7.0.0 -> 0.7.1.0, see “INSTAL” section in the first post for more info.

Possible, but the components are already top tier and specific for the worldbosses in hell only. A tiered drop table would mean a tiered worldboss system. The only way would be making these into low level versions for the worldbosses in normal and nm. Hell the bosses are a fixed level

OK i just extracted the mod files, and realized that there are actually various of craft materials to buy on the long road ahead, (i don’t know if the pool really been used though. ) including eldritch essense, which is nice, i also add it in the early shop pool amongst the brain matters and such, so i can transmute set pieces early in the game now, it’s not really cheat in my opinion, cause they are rather expensive and you can already get scrap early in the game, which can be used to transmute set pieces into different set. But i guess you can also use essense to craft powerful augments so i understand the late appearence.
Personal altering , nothing about the mod itself, just spoil myself.

I installed the mod for the first time yesterday. Where do you find the version number in-game?

Mod version is visible in-game only when playing on Normal+ (Veteran) or higher difficulty.

Hey there. Thanks for the reply. Fixed. just copied it to my Grim Dawn mods folder instead of straight to the mod itself and it worked. Not sure why it would not work the other way oh well, I’m happy now haha. can you tell me how to find the changelogs for the updated. Would like to see what was added or fixed. Thanks.

Getting a visual display bug with Health potions and tome of town portal. Anyone else having this issue?

There is a changelog text file in the RoT folder.

as for the visual bugs, It still sounds like the mod hasn’t been installed correctly.

or are you running any other mod as well? like the rainbow mod, (not compatible) also make sure you only run RoT when loading the game, don’t start Grim Dawn base, then switch to another mod.

if that doesn’t help, then screenshots. But I still think you not done something right, and its not loading everything in.

Bug: You can repeteadly open rodament’s oneshot chest even if you’ve done it before, which gives you infinite horadric scroll.

If i were you i would give d1 and d2 a go just once.It has a good mod support but yes this is most prob the best d2 mod out there and i have played a lot of d2 mods in my life.

All quest items can be obtained repeatedly from the same source in case of player losing them before quest task completion.

I guessed it when i first posted there, just want to make sure.Now it’s a relief.

Such a pity mercenaries can’t use gears in this mod(game), with such generous drop rate of items it would be so delightful to do so, how i hate the cruel reality about underlying structures, pure sorrow for mod building.

Is anyone farming uber butcher in level 14?

what kind of damage it does? especially the sudden burst damage, I gd stash a toon with level 45 grizzly with full mythical aldur set, it is having some 120k hp on skill tree description with 75% all pet resist including physical thanks to the summon resist and devotion. it is instant death for it once butcher reach 50% hp and decide to do the super damage. My toon is over 30k hp with 81% pierce resist with 45% overcap, 82% bleed resistance with 60% overcap, 79% fire resistance with 98% overcap, and 63% physical resistance, and it is also an instant death.

i am aware of its debuff, and generally i am not its target since the bears are taking all the aggro, sometimes it appears like it is teleporting to me and instant death, sometimes it is just instant death if standing closer without it teleport to me. i am aware of the its charge and the animation does not appear to be the charge skill.

is it the crushing blow again?

Not entirely sure, Ram can for sure specify what happens at 50% health. Butcher has a new phase there but I don’t see big differences between the phases. However, his ground-wave attack deals physical damage + 25-50% CB damage, so that can be quite a heavy hit. Another heavy hit, especially up close, is the nova attack that might shotgun you.

The cb mechanism needs to be tuned down, it is quite frustrating, for slower animation like viserion it is still avoidable, for fast type like butcher, it is mostly a certain death, even circuit breaker can’t activate because there is no 50% hp or anything, it is just straight 0%.
