Yes, keys will be consumed. You’d have to do it all over again, it’s a long grind.

Magic Arrow mana cost decreases with invested skill points so on 20/20 it doesnt cost anything.

Multipleshot had only 1 projectile on 1/20 -> fixed

:stuck_out_tongue: Trust me, I thought about not saying anything–I do love my Edge–but having every melee character regardless of build jumping to use this bow at lvl 25 and then never using anything else makes for a really boring game.

On the other hand, other RW will eventually be improved to be in alignment with high-end AoM gear. Crossed fingers for better rune drops though or I will always just use GD gear and won’t care about RW anyway.

I don’t want to ruin the fun but when something is broken like Edge, it just has to be fixed (the issue with Edge RW was that I overlooked a line in dbr and set base attack speed to 30.0 (= 30 attacks per second) instead of modifying current attack speed by 30%.

And dont worry, runes will drop more often (I suspect that maybe even too often) I rely on your honest feedback because I cannot test it myself as thoroughly as I’d want to.

Armor value of high tier runewords is already balanced to be in line with AoM gear.

As in 10-15k life taken in a hit? Holy cow! Ridiculous…

Maybe this question will be stupid but… I killed Andariel and can’t find way to play Act 2 :wink:

After returning the quest to Warriv you need to double-click his caravan and that should bring you to Act 2.

And I was looking for dialogue option, teleport in Andariels lair or something… damn…

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but there are a bunch of augments that I’ve never encountered in the shop, such as Survivor’s Resilience and Survivor’s Ingenuity, Ulgrim’s Guile… It could totally be rng messing with me, but I feel its unlikely at this point.

Try talking to Akara again. I haven’t experienced the problem but sometimes quests don’t engage. A ng, dropping scroll, picking back up, etc might trigger quest. But Akara has to tell you what to do next then you get the symbols.

You can add the scroll again via ingame command line:

  1. Press “~” on the keyboard
  2. Write the following command: game.Give “mod_testgrounds/cain/scroll_main.dbr”
  3. Use the scroll and it should give you the symbols

Understand if you want to do this as a solo project at your own pace, just wanted to throw it out there.

Couple of observations.

I play a classic necro, lvl 48 with everything into skellies and mages.

I have encountered 15 or so goblins and have managed to kill 0 of them.

To test it out I also gave myself enough skill points to max out druid as second class.

All summon points unlocked.

lvl 20 Heart of wolverine.

Might from Act 2 follower.

All Necro summon skills.

Still can not take a goblin down.

No +skill items but about 60% pet dmg from gear.

50 Devotion points, all into pets.

Still no dice.

Seems to be more then a balancing issue.

Ideas?

Ps. what are the item codes for the runes? Perhaps I am lacking +skill and there are few items that apply to the new classes DS.

my trap with assasin don’t hit the goblin too ^^. More low rune / low RW could help for early game :).

edit : with the last patch can’t use portal atm

I could use some help with lua scripting (mainly MP quest/event support) or one time help from someone experienced in making animations so I could finally implement Bows in the mod. Apart from these two things I am capable of doing basically anything on my own.

Regarding goblin: D2 summoner builds with decent gear should be able to beat goblin on normal difficulty without much trouble so I am not sure what is wrong with your build. I should add that NM and Hell goblin have higher resistances so it is important to lower them (Amplify Damage comes to mind).

runes: game.Give “records/0_rot/items/socket/runes/rot_rune01.dbr” - goes from rot_rune01.dbr to rot_rune33.dbr

Both will be fixed in the update I am going to release later today.

Know you are getting ready for a release but this looks pretty crazy. Haven’t tried it on yet. RW-Malice which should have NEG health regen ads 1.4 billion! :rolleyes:
