However, mod you linked has update, that never published. And author recommend to use his another mod with same functional. As i understand greaves models replaced by horse, but GD engine have additional abilities to improve that.

Yes, I opened it. Since it marked as beta 0.2, I went for latest builds to primary source: https://titanquestfans.net/, where author said he had made missed animation, but there are no version greater than 0.2. There also he recommed use his another improved version of mod Horse rider addon for Skin collection Skin Mods Collection at Titan Quest Anniversary Edition Nexus - Mods and Community. So I used it in tests above.
Oh, my English is not good, and I canāt find any MOD related to horse riding in Nexus.
To this day I havenāt seen even a mount MOD for grim dawn or titan quest in the nexus, if Denes implements this in his mod this will be the first.
I remember that there was someone here on the forum working on a mount project, but it seems that he abandoned the project, a pity.

found a bug, the trap in rogue mastery falls through the floor when cast inside caves/dungeons. speaking of these would it be feasible to combine cave/dungeon parts? the first one having 2 loading screens seems a bit much for how small it is. other than that iāve not yet come very far, hit boxes seem a tad too big overall.

There are some engine limitation. The Grid Regions (dungeons) must be fixed size to correctly build navigation mesh. But with Act 2 practice i could say Iāll try to rework that Act 1 caves. Some Act 2 Underground still will be split into at least 2 regions
Unfortunately I can not do anything about hitboxes.
There are no two-handed weapons in the TQ, nor are there any corresponding animations. Therefore, I did not set any two-handed animations.
