I’m currently reorganizing my fields, and it feels a bit limiting not being able to expand or shrink them as I’d like.
Right now, you can’t make an expansion if the size of that expansion is smaller than 5x5.
I tried a workaround by creating a 5x5 area that overlaps the walls, thinking the field would automatically trim itself to fit around obstacles (unfortunately I don’t have a screenshot of how the left field looked before, sorry). But after the farmers finished their work, the left field only gained one extra row instead of the three available up to the wall.
So, I’ll have to delete the field and redraw it just to get the right size. That’s a shame, because in real life farmers can shape their fields however they like (adding or removing land as needed). It would be helpful if we could both expand and reduce fields with a tool that only has one rule: keep a single continuous surface (no splitting).
