Soap, Baskets, Furniture, Candles, Glassware Spices, Pottery, Shoes, Linen Clothing, and Hide Coats all need to be added to the list of items available at the Market.
Even if it means adding another one or two Market Worker slots in order to keep up with v.8 home delivery expectations.
All of these either are or become quality of life items, which should be readily and centrally available when possessed.
After the Winter Shelter Seeking, the sudden breakout, if the Market were able to stock these items could turn into a Black Friday event.
Yes, because it looks like you’re only at the shelter part of the housing so far so of course those items won’t show up at your market. Move housing up to the next tier and you should see things like soap, pottery, etc, at your market. Might need the market to upgrade as well to its T2.
The map mod that shows where everything is at is the only mod or app I’ve downloaded and used.
So, now I understand that there is an upgrade required for of some items, but it doesn’t make much sense.
Shoes, Coats and Baskets are T1 products to manufacture (needing only Boards from the Sawmill) Candles Clothes and Pottery are all T2, but can’t be sold unless a T3 item (Bricks) are obtained at the Trading Post, and the Market is upgraded.
While Bread, an item that does require a T3 item to manufacture (Heavy Tools for the Windmill) is sold at all primary levels.
Shoes, Coats and Clothes all still seem to be free-floating items that generate no revenue through the Market when consumed, taking up space unless sold at the Trading Post.
Should the barriers to even get to manufacture the items be the only restrictions on its marketability, with the amounts (not types) of items kept in the Market being the upgrade?
Aligning their Market availabilities more respective of what tier they can be manufactured?
Clothing and shoes are needed as part of the overall happiness index and coats in order for the villagers to survive the cold. It may be the reason they didn’t include them in the marketplace. With the marketplace upgrade in 8.0 our peeps should have more available time to get their own clothes.
Yes, market needs to be upgraded to stock those items. Which requires bricks. Which you need T3 Town Center or buy from trader. I think it’s a feature, not a bug, that you have tradeoffs between waiting to produce items yourself or trading at the trading post. (See: heavy tools)
