My Best in Game Builds

I’m pretty sure I answered your questions before. No changes currently.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I was very worried that devotion skills were converted with pet conversions and I had to adjust every build :open_mouth:

I built a new one based on your inspiration. I’ll add it to the list later today.
So far: My Version

That’s not bad, but it still has the same problem of low sustain. Gloves have healing proc, but you lack Behemoth or Tree of Life. And, it’s easy to take 1 point in Wendigo an Blood Pact. Placing Wendigo against hard bosses can help you, since you have high base health and totems regain % of your health.

Belt is pretty bonkers, especially chance to do extra % lightning damage. Conversion is also nice, although because Bysmiel set already has acid to elemental, you can’t fully convert it to lightning. The main drawback is the lack of + class bonus, unlike the blue belt, you already have. Both are actually good on their own.

I didn’t finish testing in the last PT, but prior to that bull was one of the best pet devotion procs that fits into ideal pet devotion setups. On a doubled up pet it’s constant spam usually combined with the pet having a TDM mod.

Well… I must give up for now before my head explodes. That’s why I don’t do two pet classes. Every time I try a new variation there is a build that does the same thing better and it drives me nuts. IE: Warlock does elemental birds better.
Oh well, I’ll look at it again in the future with a clear head.

I realized the chest armor on my Warlock was an extremely rare drop and updated the build to use the common purple. It’s still a SR90 Very Easy 7.5 - 8.5

Finally!!! I finished and posted the Conjurer. It is a little more powerful then my elemental Warlock solo SR90, but less powerful via buffs to others in multiplayer. So, with my system it scores better.

A solid build. Thanks for showing me your build and answering some questions.
Did they buff Behemoth last patch? It seems useful now.

because the timer pass/fail is tied to SR rewards,? when the timer reaches 0 you lose 2 bonus chest
however the loot stays the same regardless as long as there is time left
so it’s a leeway mechanic where you don’t get loot punished to the same degree as Crucible, not a performance measurement, just like how the Crucible score doesn’t measure performance

absolute nonsense, stop it :joy:

NEW BUILD
Very good SR90 build and a fantastic MI runner. You will need to farm a better Bargoll’s Core.

  • Witch Hunter Elemental Solo SR90 Very Easy:
See OP for grim Tools link

Trickster has moved to the best list coming soon.

Did you use nightblade just to dual wield? You could use a belt for that instead. Yes it will cost you a gear slot but fuck me that’s a tiny opportunity cost compared to your second class.

Yes with Veil of Shadow and Shadow Strike for super fast MI runs. Occultist is the main class and the second class only augments similar to how all my builds function.

I can make a vid for you with this build tomorrow so you can see it’s a best in game build like the others, before you dive in.

What does that buy you? You hardly have any of the damage that it has rr for. Just the cold a little bit from some elemental, but most of it is fire and lightning?

You are thinking of Night’s Chill and it’s optional.

The purpose of Nightblade is stats, Veil of Shadow, and dual wield.

Posted the Witch Hunter video.

I’ll make a generic video later explaining what exactly makes end game builds different than standard build guides.

New Build

  • Shieldbreaker Fire Solo SR75 Very Easy:
Very fun unique build that can crush a SR75 with great ease.

I may be out of Best in Game SR90 7+ builds. I could post more fun SR75 builds or answer questions to keep this thread alive if anyone is interested.

That’s a pretty poorly put together build. 3/12 Blast Shield and then very bad sustain (basically just adtch from Stormfire and devotion procs). And then with such low cc res it’s gonna be a pain to play. Not even mentioning 2355 OA on an endgame dot build with big crit modifiers.

Maybe you should specify that those are builds that you liked the most out of the builds that you constructed. Because they are not best in anything, just as your pet builds.

You can play whatever builds you want and share them, just don’t mismarket them as “best”. You are doing disservice to players who might actually fall for the marketing and waste their time playing them and you are also disrespecting builders who actually put time and effort to figure out and test the best specs and present them to community.

This build is just a 3rd best SR75. The “Best in Game” builds are all called Solo SR90 Very Easy. I will point that out better in the OP so you don’t think 2nd and 3rd best are the Best in Game.

if you have a better Shieldbreaker build made without an editor I would love to see it. TY in advance

i’m curious what/why you think changes to a shieldbreaker setup has anything to do with an editor?
An editor/no editor doesn’t change one from not using Ulzuin set, in support of either more pseudo pet stuff, reducing points in semi redundant skills and putting points in slightly more useful ones, or even adding more pseudo pet stuff for more dmg.
It’s interesting that any remark on a more “optimized” setup results in you dismissing anything and the validity of it as if selecting more optimal items, skill distribution, devotions has anything todo with an editor, and not just the fundamental puzzle of the game itself.
Or rather you can turn the comment around, there is nothing preventing this build from being regarded as an editor build, the way it’s strung together doesn’t make it more/less editor kosher, because the way it’s pieced together depends on the builder’s pov, and there is nothing to prove those items are anymore valid than a pyran or X setup(i forget the other set thingy).
If anything you’re basically going on equally “trust me bro” that the items here are legit as “any” other shieldbreaker setup offered, as there is potentially equally nothing less/more unrealistic about it than another’s setup.
so, what makes another person’s setup/Grimtools doodle default “editor made thus invalid”, vs yours?

Having a hard time following. Can you condense this into one or two questions.

if it helps to add examples
“i don’t have those double rare legs” (- and they are necessary to your build)
“i don’t have that helmet, and it’s extremely unlikely to drop because vitality/acid bias”
so, what would “me”/someone using different green legs or green helmet equate to it being “editor”/invalid?
what would changing chest/shoulder/ring/skill point distribution/devotions equate to being editor created/invalid?

or, direct comparison, “what makes this default editor invalid over yours” Shieldbreaker, Level 100 (GD 1.2.0.3) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator ??
i’m curious what the foundational cause/criteria is and where the line gets drawn in your pov
