My Feedback after 40 hours and some ideas

First of all I must say that the game is GREAT. Good Job Crate Entertaintment. Finally a game that beats Banished as a Medieval city Builder.

Suggestions

    • Add a notice when a mine is empty.
    • Add a notice when a Working Camp Stops on collect resources. (Iddle workers)
    • Add a notice when a new merchant arrives.
    • Add an option to auto-replace a worker when he dies.
    • Consider to add a second spot for patients in the upgraded healing building.
    • I don’t know if it is implemented, but wolves and bears should occasionally attack cattle if they are not protected by a fence.
    • Add Churches/Cathedrals. Add priests as a profession.
    • Add festivity Events: Increase happiness temporarily in exchange for some resources (Gold, beer, some people stops working and go party at the event, other resources for the setup of the festivities…)
    • New demand for happiness. Spirituality/Religion. Depends on Churches, Graveyards, Shrines, priests…
    • Add a way to realocate graveyards to other spots. Also consider add a gravedigger as a proffesion. Gravediggers can collect dead corpses, do the maintenante to the Graveyard, move/replace/remove graves, build coffins… A good maintenance in the graveyard could improve the happiness a bit.
  • -Add a Research center to unlock high tier weapons/armour, producton resources new technologies ect… (exmples: better fertilizers, gunpowder for mining, better medicines, better tools, better production ect…)
  • -Consider adding salt and spices as resources to improve luxury (only avalibe at trading post, or you can consider extract salt mining in a salt pit. Or you could use the Gatherer to collect Salt/spices in the wild)
  • -Of course we need Sheeps, goats, horses, donkeys and Chikens. Moar animals, moar farming.
    • Add Stable building to grow up Horses and donkeys (donkeys tier 1 for transporting, horses tier 2 for transporting, and add mounted knights? Horses also can be used for a faster explorer if avaible)
    • Also add moar types of trees to collect fruits and moar crops (pepper, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce, strawberries, rice, cherry, plum, olive…). Moar agriculture.
    • Add oil as a resource? (maintenance of heavy tools, fire arrows, lighting, cooking…) Extraction: sunflower crop, Olive tree, tallow…
    • Add Bridges
    • Add fishing boats (tier 2?) as a way to for example fishing in the middle of a big lake. (moar fish)

Crazy Ideas

  • Zombie wave mode: A mode where the country side has random zombie creatures, some spawn near valuable resources (like mines).
Zombies eat animals, so they also reduce hunt population (as wolves/bears should do).
Zombie virus: Zombies can infect seriously injured citizens and transmit diseases or generate a disease that if not cured can transform the victim into a new zombie.
Introduce new zombie creatures more difficult to kill that can also infect with Zombie virus. (Dead zombie wolves, Dead zombie bears, Ghouls, range attack creatures ect…)
Zombies spawn an attack wave like the raiders. (Sustitute raider waves for Zombie waves? Both waves?)

Things to improve

    • Performance must be improved greatly, the game feels laggy and “heavy” every time you open a resource window. The game drops in performance as you play. In larger maps it´s even worse.
    • The “Statistics” function should be improved. Right now it’s not very useful. There should be a better breakdown of products consumed per year, products generated per year, products currently in storage, products spoiling per year…

Thanks for making this game so amazing!

Very very good feedback. Would +1 almost every single point. Great work here.
Instead of writing another one i will just say - yes! What MithrandirKun said!

Churches could be an early game source of desirability or negate negative effects of the graveyard but cost monthly gold for the tithe. Upgrading could increase fertility through marriages or contribute to happiness for households with educated villagers who can read the Bible at home.
