My first map with raiders crashes

I really don’t know what happened. When I had just finished murdering a band of looters, I moved around the map to take care of a building zone when the game crashed. Three hours of play lost. :sob:

My laptop didn’t struggle, the game was fluid. Any ideas ?

Unless you turned auto saves off then you shouldn’t lose 3 hours of play. Default for auto saves is every 10 minutes.

I turned it off.
Because it annoyed me that the game freezes while saving.

Well that’s the price you pay for going naked in alpha games.

I second cpy. I chuck saves on top of the autosaves. This is still early access. :stuck_out_tongue: A quick freeze is a small price to pay.

You’re right. But first things I do when I begin a new game are :

  • Cut music, :angry:
  • Put the background sounds to a minimum (which I end up also mute after an hour or two), :angry:
  • Cancel autosaves if they cause the slightest slowdown. :angry:

Nothing serious finaly: I redid everything… For the better :slight_smile:
