Need help with my korvan wyrm primal spam build

Doesn’t seem like you lost any defensive devo though
although Oleron has some Phys res and slow on the proc so dunno maybe it does sth

probably lotus and hound not giving much return, while also being superfluous affinity wise

Oh it hasn’t taken the azra proc  I was wondering why I was one point short on vire.

ye it’s like, proc vs passive node tradeoff when the points are that tight

Ah yeah, stag is probably better points wise. So maybe like this: Warder, Level 100 (GD 1.2.1.2) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
It has a bit more attack speed, less damage than the vire way. And I got my reflect resist back, very important! :stuck_out_tongue:

This is not bad, might be a bit better but it’s not super obvious. What does help is that I put Assasins Mark on primal strike, since we’ve lost azra. Maybe I should do that anyway.

Edit:

Tested this as well. Doesn’t feel too different to the vire route.
And now I feel bad for abandoning Oleron, so I’ll have to put making a build with him on my gd todo list.

It’s a tricky one. The proc obviously isn’t nice, but it doesn’t last too long and 10% proc chance isn’t much.
I mainly took it for the attack speed and adcth which I sorely needed. The rest is also quite good.

So while my damage (and phys res) is down during the proc, I think overall it’s beneficial.

I feel like you should play it 4p Ultos with both Primal Strike and Savagery for max damage
Either Vindicator with Pierce → Physical or Warder.

unsure, atleast as warder i don’t think it would be the best, since it will block wary cry helmet slot, and the 20% crit bonus is probably not worth that (and mogara neck is dope on Warder too)
as Vindi i could potentially see it, but i don’t remember offhand if Ultos neck does 12% conversion? if so would obviously be bad
in general i feel like it might be geared more towards Vindi to utilize the CD nature of PS, but then again, everyone that made Wyrm Vindi didn’t exactly have stellar things to say about that either

Here’s what I’m working on atm Vindicator (finished)

I think it was there in the past but not anymore?

wuhuu :raised_hands:

I finished. Cannot be better than Elementalist Lightning version I assume Elementalist, Level 100 (GD 1.2.0.3) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator

Maybe you could also do Cooldown Primal Strike + Rune of Kalastor + Silver Spread with 3p Octavius  I started that actually but then noticed that the build with Savagery and Ultos is much simpler to make.

I’m also hoping cooldown attacks builds gonna be stronger in OA with additional charges somehow.

I remember a year or so ago I tried theory crafting one of these multiple times and it just seemed so miserable that I never bothered to level one and see.

Goldish Seal and Primal Strike do look really nice though. That’s the main reason to play it imo. And to play Vindicator over Warder.

Why the bull? Isn’t that just internal trauma? Or is it mainly for the proc?

Trauma, some Physique, proc, -10% Physique req seem pretty good but you can change it to sth else, definitely not very important. Not sure if the best, looked good to me while tooling.

Alright. I always imagine I’ll use it because the proc seems nice, but then I don’t care about the internal trauma and I end up with something else

Anyway, I’m curious if you’ll have issues with reflect damage

After seeing this question answered with a ‘Yes’, I changed over my wyrm build to include mealstorm to proc the bear some more

Updated build: Warder, Level 100 (GD 1.2.1.2) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
I did SR80, though I did die to Grava’s balls, and I think I was standing in a puddle. Other than that feels quite solid.

Late to the discussion but this was my KW Warder from a couple years ago. It had energy sustain problems but was plenty tanky.

I’d rework it a bit now like add wind devils and change procs. Swap in an arcane spark. Kilrian’s component on chest and move titan plating to helmet. Swap Empty Throne to Owl. Something along those lines.

Interesting! Not too different skill wise.

Your energy regen doesn’t look much worse than mine. But I guess coupled with a little more attack speed it’s enough to drain you. Mine isn’t perfect either, but quite alright and only needs a potion every now and then. :stuck_out_tongue:
