Ah, more comparisons to Diablo, because that’s all you do when it comes to criticizing Grim Dawn. How about you go play those games instead of playing this one? Maybe it’s not for you.

Dude I know you’ve been hearing it a lot but take it from someone who enjoys both games you should consider trying Ram’s mod (link in signature) if not the actual game.

I’m sure it’s a well made mod and lot of work was put into it, but these constant comparisons to Diablo just put me off of playing anything Diablo, official or not.

It’s stupid but i don’t care. People constantly comparing Grim Dawn or any other ARPG to Diablo just made me not want to play any of them.

+1 for being sick of people comparing Grim Dawn to the Diablo games. Don’t get me wrong, Diablo 2 LoD was fun (at least until patch 1.10 rolled around) but it had crap balance, poor pacing, tons of absolutely fucking USELESS uniques bloating the loot pool, and consequently stingy droprates for the best items even with good %MF gear. After 1.10 dropped, it just got STUPID with the insane powercreep (on new runewords in particular) and the scads of immunes, and the skill synergies system was borked as fuck.

First, Diablo II is bad comparison as it had no balancing
Second, End game bosses are Nemeses, Mad Queen, The Sentinel and Dungeon bosses
The correct term to describe The Ravager and Mogdrogen is “Super Boss”
Third, every class combo can take down the Super Bosses but every build cannot do it.
For Instance, I can kill them a Poison Witch Hunter but might fail doing so with Chaos Witch Hunter

1. You seem to be pretty hell bent on trying to prove that you are right and the various players who managed to kill him are either cheating or lying about the kill time so I’d suggest you read some dedicated build guides that have killed him in a respectable time frame.

2. Also a Retaliation build is slow against Ranaged enemies but if built right it can clear the content. So again you are wrong

3. Safarel, DaShive, Reapersgaze, Avatar of Dreeg or thepowerofmediocrity should be the ones to address this one as it is possible there’s an OP pet build that’s being kept off the radar

4. Why yes I have, I can understand your skepticism but I did. 10 minutes is no biggie, there are those who have killed him in much shorter time frames. Either Superfluff or JoV holds the record for quickest Ravager kill (I am not sure if the former clocked his kill during testing)

Also Superbosses are the toucgest challenge in Main Campaign. Not every build should be able to do them with such ease (imo), I took this up with Zantai requesting him to buff the Ravager but my proposal was turned down. Hopefully the Superboss of Forgotten Gods expac is at least twice as hard as the Ravager.

2. Retaliation cannot clear council in valbury no matter how proper you make that build.

3. There is no pet build kept off the radar. I haven’t tried the new unique that gives max resists to pet +15 but not sure even that will work vs bosses because the pets OA is not good enough and will always miss bosses. If I focus on resists then I will lower the DPS of pets. Even now with peak DPS (45K crits on other bosses) I don’t hit those bosses on ultimate. I got a good 10 seconds before my pets melts to Mogdrogen and in those 10 seconds 0 damage is done.

What? I broke that myth in vanilla before AoM buffed my offense even further. There’s also a not so obvious Retaliation build whose hint lies on the forums that can clear content easily

Yes it can. With a proper dawnguard build very much so. Kinda like this. You’ll have to imagine it in PV i’m afraid
