The contrast between the two should now be more clear!

and I don’t have a tablet emulator at the moment to reproduce it on. It appears both on android’s chrome and opera if that’s of any help.

You have to go to someones profile to see how many posts they’ve made :sob:

You have to update your links manually. As long as the threads haven’t been purged due to old age or irrelevance (the threads you listed all still exist) you can find them easily with the search tool. Speaking of which, it’s such an improvement. The old vBulletin search tool was completely useless, this one here actually works :grinning:

Yeah that was the issue. It would have been a real pain in the ass to find those links with the state the board was in that early morning around 5am on Tues, As I has stated when you visited the forums at that time, they seemed a complete mess. No stickied posts, all just random posts, most of which appeared to have their coding messed up and not closed correctly, not sure thats the right term either.

HOWEVER! I was up at 5am when I normally am not, had taken something to help me sleep AND since I live in Denver Colorado (and a legal resident) was also stoned. Shortly after I wrote that post I realized I should probably stop trying to anaylze websites lol and just go to bed.

Today I see the site and Forums look pretty good. Night and day difference since I last visited. I still can’t find the link for the build I am using, but its not a big deal I know the concept and run with it on my own if need be.

If you know the name/title of the build then you can just do a search for it.

Well, you can at least make a guess.

The post counts go something like this:

50 - speaker
100 - supporter
200 - counsel
400 - advocate
600 - campaigner
800 - emissary
1000 - herald
1500 - champion
2500 - lord advocate
5000 - Apostle
7500 - Ascendant (Added in 2018 when someone unintentionally hit those numbers)

Not gonna lie, I hate it. its like im staring at a wide screen tv with bars down both sides. Navigating is an absolute pain in the … Maybe im too used to the old ways or im old I dunno.
Im not planning on using special keyboard functions to navigate a website, I just want to click on a topic and go to the page I need, not scroll endlessly hoping to find stuff. Looking for information on the modding section is just too much work, before hand people would say there’s a link on page 202, and you go and get it, now its constantly asking the same questions because no one has the time or energy to go hunting for specific things. Feel sorry for any modders right now, there only solution is try and fit every relevant answer to the front page and hope they have enough room.

I only play grim dawn because of the mods, vanilla is a bore. So anything that messes up modding to me is just driving me away from the game.

So like on the old forum then? Same exact standard width.

But this looks boring, its not fun in any way. It “looks” like what I described.

Btw I use dark mode on chrome if that makes a difference, the bars on the side are dark gray, the middle section is also dark. It looks like im staring at a wide screen tv.

I hated the layout when the new forums were unveiled. But after all the changes, I have come to like it.

Still would love if there was atleast an option to go back to having pages though.

As for the width of the side bars, I guess one can zoom in using Ctrl + , though that also increases the text size.

The forums don’t really work correctly. When i try to get into a build compendium I get thrown to the first page of the forum…

Which is why they say this…

That is because the links point to the old forum. It will be updated soonTM

Ninja’ed by Zantai…

Welcome to the forum. The links to the old forum were broken with the move so until veretragna gets a chance to fix all the compendium links you’ll just have to use the search function. Type in the title of the build you want and hey presto there it will be.

Thanks!

Any possibility to make that blue scroll bar slightly wider Zantai? It’s a bit difficult to grab hold of being so narrow.

Just grab it here:

Yeah, that bit is, but if you want to just click on the top of the scroll bar to go straight to the top or bottom without using that wider bit it’s more difficult. Clicking is also faster if you want to get to the top of a long thread.

Maybe it has already been changed, but I’m able to click 1/4" - 1/2" next to any part of the blue bar and it will still act as if I have clicked the bar and will scroll to that point. Am I misunderstanding?
