New Screenshot - Holding the Barricade

I stand corrected.

That’d be cool, it’s better for immersion to see on-going attacks so you know there’s war going on, rather than a one-time scripted event. Scripted events are cool, until you stop and see what happens afterwards. Well, the Call of Duty series has the tendency to blow you to pieces if you try to outwait its scripted events (or accidentily run into a wrong direction - or just for the fun of it, it seems)…

Anyway, here’s some completely worthless anecdotal evidence because I’m a bit worried about the implementation of on-going events;
You remember those obelisks in Egypt who spawn those green skeletons right? A friend of mine put his character near such an obelisk all night, but some weight on his mouse to keep him auto-attacking. The next morning, he cashed in all the extra experience.
However, when he tried this ‘trick’ (mind you, he’s a programmer :)) with Immortal Throne, his computer would lag horribly afterwards, indicating that IT had much more problems with processing information of piled up dead stuff.

It’s purely anecdotal evidence from years ago and I didn’t bother to verify it. There you have it, some more incoherent info to be worried about

I have trouble with this too and I think all of us do. When played on extended long time, TQIT would become laggy. I will, of all time find suitable point to save and exit and reopen TQIT and load the saved game. I think people also say that the rubber-banding issue also appear only in TQIT. I directly start playing with TQIT so I didn’t know.

Aw man, I hated that invisible corpse pile up. Serious lag on some of those spawn mods even after you killed everyone…

I think the obvious solution here is to just make sure it doesn’t suck.

Damn, you just sold me your game.
And the screenshot makes Diablo 3 look like a cartoon. Legendary edition here I come!

Is that a double barrel shotgun? AWESOME!!!

Looks more like a pump-action shotgun to me. Either way it’s cool
Could also just be a rifle… it’s a bit hard to see from a distance.

HMMMM… wonder what screenshots we will se in june???

sofare evry shot have been better and better so expatasions is rising…

he he he he

CODE187 used BAD GRAMMAR! It’s super effective!

JENGA became confused! It hurt itself in its confusion!

Registered to say that I’m certainly excited to get this game.

Great Screenies!!!

Anyway, maybe something wrong with my eyes, but does the rifle (double barreled shotgun?) angle seem to be out of whack?

Maybe its the recoil!

Lol. Probably :D. but whatever, fix it or not, still getting this.:stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe it isn’t double barreled.

Then something wrong with my eyes then. Lol:p

As long as it puts some nice red meat on the ground I’ll be happy.

The screen looks really cool, one thing I’m wondering and can’t quite find though: what’s the setting (steampunk, fantasy, etc) for this game? You’ve got zombies and magic, invading demons/aliens, and the humans have guns and grenades and what looks like American civil war-era uniforms? What kind of tech is available to humanity here?

I think that should answer your questions.

Ah this key information was buried in the FAQ’s of all places, no wonder I couldn’t find it

I always wonder, do you guys play the game when its in dvelopments lol
