Nocturne – Lazy, Budget, Player scaled Pets Conjurer

Foreword:

I wanted to make a Dark One set based, player scaled Pet build, with as many target farmable items as I could, while being able to Kill every single thing in the game. So… I did image

Note: Requires both Ashes_of_Malmouth & Forgotten_Gods.

Note II: For leveling, I prefer going for pets since that is what I am most familiar with, but vitality caster route also works.

  • [Pet] [1.2.1] (sr+) Nocturne - “Pet” Conjurer (Maya)

    • Damage: Vitality
    • Active Skills: Curse of Frailty, Blood of Dreeg, Wind Devil, Wendigo Totem, Storm Totem, Devouring Swarm, Savagery
    • Passive Skills: Possession, Solael’s Witchfire, Mogdrogen’s Pact, Presence of Might

If you are wondering, you can also use Morgoneth’s Wrath instead of Nightbringer

Took around 4 minutes with Morgoneth’s Wrath, but pretty safe as long as you avoid sunder.

Final TentacleBirb and done

Mogdrogen and Ravager of Souls done :yum:

Build updated to have more DPS and also is now fully target farmable except for Relic and Components :3

Added a fully target farmable (but weaker) version of the build as well.

Build is ready for 1.2 image

Build tested for 1.2.1.0 playtest patch, working fine and is as strong as before :+1:

EDIT - Cally kill is 1 min faster than before on average, making the build actually stronger offensively

Maya, Maya, hi!
I look at patches 1.21, and there are only nerfs.
What makes murders happen faster?

My best guess is that the reduced enemy health regeneration is the reason -

New playtest patch didn’t really change much for us.
Build plays same as before.

Hallelujah! Only took 10 Morgoneth runs and got Nightbringer! Also 3 prime rings. Unfortunately zero boots and zero pants. What can take the place of those if RNG starts failing me?

Anything of your choice. Boots and Pants are flexible slots here and don’t need to be morgo ones.

For those wo want more pets, you can use Blood Knight amulet instead -

Build updated, now is fully budget and works with the blue Morgoneth weapon as well in case you are having trouble getting Nightbringer to drop.

This could works as beginner guide? Thanks!

Yes, but for leveling, I can only provide how to do it as a pet build since I don’t have much experience leveling vitality caster builds

Example :

How to Level

Attributes:

Everything into Physique, except for when you need to invest into Cunning or Spirit to meet the required stats for equipping items.

Leveling:

There are primarily 2 ways to go. Either focus more on Occultist or Shaman. I would suggest going with an Occultist focused setup since it is easier to level with. You can ofcourse, focus on both equally, but then would be spreading your points too thin and that is not recommended.

Devotions:

  • Purple Crossroads > Shepherd’s Crook > Remove Purple
  • Green Crossroads > Raven > Rhowan’s Crown > Remove Green
  • Blue Crossroads > Eel > 4 points in Amatok (for Blizzard)
  • Yellow Crossroads > Tortoise > Remove Yellow
  • Sailor’s Guide > Crane > Panther > Solemn Watcher
  • Ishtak + 4 points in Tree of Life (for Healing Rain)

Skills:

  • Lvl 10 – 16/16 Familiar, 1/16 Hellhound.
  • Lvl 20 – 16/16 Briarthorn, 1/10 Curse of Frailty, 4/16 Hellhound.
  • Lvl 30 – 10/10 Curse of Frailty, 10/10 Vulnerability, 16/16 Hellhound.
  • Lvl 40 – 16/16 Blood of Dreeg, 8/12 Storm Spirit, 1/16 Devouring Swarm.
  • Lvl 50 – 12/12 Lightning Strike.
  • Lvl 60 – 12/12 Aspect of the Guardian, 12/12 Storm Spirit, 3/12 Ember Claw, 1/12 Bonds of Bysmiel.
  • Lvl 70 – 3/12 Manipulation, 1/12 Possession.
  • Lvl 80 – 12/12 Manipulation, 12/12 Possession.
  • Lvl 90 – 12/12 Infernal Breath, 12/12 Ember Claw.
  • Lvl 94 – Respec, according to the build you are going for.

But this build is easy to make compared to most endgame setups since everything used can be target farmed.

Decided to add Wind Devils into the mix since they are now permanent pets. The result unsurprisingly is more damage :3

2:50 min cally kill instead of the previous 3:30 minutes.
