Object level logging and filtered output tab

Please consider some form of object level functionality where each building (and/or villager) has a toggle checkbox to enable some form of logging data. By checking that box it’s object level logging is enable and appended/logged to a central log window tab exposed to the user. This could be a game settings option or game function of an NPC or other building like a function of the townhall etc. But so long as the core function is that by enabling any building’s tick box, that building’s status log is sent to a user central log output which can be functionally filtered. “The storage is full.”

As an addition to this, please consider exposing a log to the user that is game nature in function such that a game window tab off the existing is a unit level log file with advanced filtering buttons that cover common filters. Villagers could also be selected once the main function is implemented, but the building level log would be most helpful. The log could also have equally generalized function of game status. Things that come to mind are boxes for buildings, villagers, the village and seasons, events, deaths. Intervals, threat levels which can be assigned a text tag and color.

Final Note, the reason this is an important game function, is accessibility. With this functionality you get two core updates to the game, game information for the discerning player and also with a generalized text output stream a player with the ability to get text status could be accessible to them through audible ques.

For anyone that has still read this far, just imagine a mod where Deckard Cain says, “Winter is coming”. I rest my case. I could even imagine this is an NPC where the audible track is only live when the NPC is highlighted, but their game animation could just be them walking around with a torch or lantern and logging status. “Our village is under attack!”
