GAWD! I said I’m sorry!! :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:

Oh hahaha I’m not the type to get triggered by anything, much less a based president.

This is what I made. Stole the devotion from banana_peel’s Cyclone Archon.

-Oleron’s Blood component allows for capping WPS (102%).
-Markovian’s Advantage gives effectively ~3500 OA to make use of the ~120% crit damage to Savagery.
-M. Crystallum allows you to hit 9+ targets every swing with good ADCH.
-Resistances lack a little, but regen is pretty good, and the gearing is pretty easy so I left them as is, though the pants give a boatload of OA so I kinda need 'em (found legit).

I’m considering making a guide but this pretty much fits your ask. Movement skills aren’t needed, and Wendigo Totem is only needed in deep SR.

 Good, cause I was messing around too. Ugh, so based. He’s gonna ruin your egg prices like crazy at this rate

i will try that… can you make and link the build and also tell stat priority and gear/weapon?

This is as close as I can get to doing the work for you, I am missing rings, medal, and stuff, but most of what I use is there. Commando, Level 100 (GD 1.2.1.3) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator The Justice set is a pain to make, but totally worth it. There may be better sets for this, but I haven’t done too much. I wanted the full justice set the most out of this, haha, so it took a long time to grind it all out. IT really is just the one button, so you may get bored eventually like I did.

Hey, that’s not bad either. Res isn’t that bad with that build. There are plenty with just 80%, that’s a matter of gear, dropping a lil dps for resistance if you really need to for specific bosses. But I’m sure you haven’t worried too much about it(just like the build I have) it’s a matter of having the facerolling regen where you might run for a couple secs if things get dire, but overall you’re right in their face 90% of the time. Might try this out  thanks!

the set/gloves is turning forcewave into fire btw, that’s gonna be a ripe pita without fire RR/thermite mines the second you encounter anything modestly fire resistant  - likewise no RR in devos and a lot of physical dmg devos

thanks alot  i will start the char tomorrow

Seconding Gnomish_Inquisition’s comment here… if you’re intending physical forcewave, you can’t use those gloves. If you’re intending fire forcewave, it’s a two-button build at best (forcewave + mines).

Veterancy, Counter Strike, and Fighting Spirit don’t give amazing value for the points. Leave them all at 1, bring Scars of Battle down to whatever value gets you 100% armor absorption with a component, get to 10 Military Conditioning, at least 13 Thermite Mine, and 10 or 14 Blast Shield. If you have leftovers after all that, only then should you put them into Fighting Spirit (though Field Command’s OA and DA is also more important, but whatever).

I personally also go with a Sunherald’s Claymore so that I’m playing fire from level 40ish… OA suffers a fair bit from having to run Menhir’s Bulwark instead of Oleron’s Rage, but damage ends up comparable with all the flat added and the proc. Either weapon should be fine with the right affixes (fire damage and cast speed). Shar’Zul’s Worldeater is best, of course, but you’ll be farming for awhile to get one of those.

since Fighting Spirit cooldown got changed it’s borderline amazing value for points btw, (imo ofc)

Is it? I might try out some higher values the next time I end up on a soldier build, I usually leave it around 4/12 or 5/12. Change my advice above to dropping points from Decorated Soldier, then, assuming elemental overcap is fine without it after components and whatnot.

no ty to forcewave. i cant even kill the first boss at burial hill. im playing on veteran yes, but still. i give up on this game. i hope some day devs will make a more easy spec system like D4. dont get me wrong. i dont like d4, but the spec system was not something that raised alot of questions.

that should be no issue with FW, it’s one of the most OP levelling skills in the game
*like, not kidding, you sometimes have newcomers complaining it’s too strong, either speccing into something bit more medium or asking to increase the difficulty

@Dan_Ludvigsen Be sure to put more than 1 point in forcewave, wield a melee 2 hander and enable the spam transmuter. For example, level 3 should be something like: Soldier, Level 3 (GD 1.2.1.3) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator

ex Dan, basically entirely naked as i skipped all items and loot stuff on the way

*also had to skip a bunch of enemies since dense spawn this time and didn’t want to overlevel

edit.
added spam FW run too, this time using a crutch weapon since didn’t get a grey 2hander, went in as lvl 4 to “compensate” tho
