yes i have 1 point in forcewave and 1 point in tremor and im using the green 2h sword from the chest in the start of the game. but i need to spam 10 forcewave at a normal enemy before they die. and the boss dont loose any hp.
This is your problem. If you put in more points it’ll do much more damage.
Like @Gnomish_Inquisition did, either put 10 points in forwave base node, or you can get the spam version and then put more points in forcewave.
You are absolutely right, that would explain why the set didn’t work out after I finally collected it! I had completely missed that stat change! Whoops!
For that first boss you need to watch out when anything throws green aether blobs at you, you can’t stand in the fire, as with all games. You also need at least 3 points in Forcewave with tremor.
As soon as you can get anything with “x% attack damage converted to health” grab it, whether it’s a devotion spec or piece of gear. It will help when you’re standing in fire later in the game.
One of the first devotions I get is the Bat usually for that reason(I later change that as soon as I find some gear with it, unless I have a vitality damage build, of course).
ok ty i try 3 or more points. i will go grind some mobs to level up.
remember to “read”/click consume the lore notes that’s laying around, they grant various amounts of XP
got the first boss but a cave near by with green poisoned water tests my char. i get no hp return. mobs just hits me until im dead.
dont’ stand in the water in that cave on, only on the ground, then just run round the rats when they shoot
you don’t have to stand still and attack if on veteran/in the beginning before you start to get some resist to tank or high enough dmg
a good early 1-few points is Menhir’s will, it will give you an extra automatic heal(with cooldown) when you get low health
have heal potions been removed from game?
Health and mana are now skills so infinite resource.
lvl 15 now… going better… does game auto use health potion and the green potion?
No, you still need to have them on a key somewhere to manually trigger them.
its going good for now. i use the items i loot that raises the forcewave damage number. i hope its the right way. do i complete the campaign just as a soldier or do i need at a certain level to activate another class?
edit: and i forgot to put anything in devotion screen. what star signs do i need to go for first?
Any time at or after level 10 you can pick a second class.
If you are still using physical Forcewave, you should probably go for Assassin’s Blade first. Put one point into the yellow affinity at the crossroads, this will unlock the Assassin’s Blade devotion to the right of the crossroads.
Don’t forget to assign the devotion skill Assassin’s Mark to Forcewave. This will reduce the physical resistance of monsters that are hit by Forcewave and lets you deal even more damage to them.
The next devotion you should aim for is Dire Bear (requires 5 blue and 5 violet affinity), but for its Maul skill to work you’d need another active attack skill to bind it to.
But if you want to keep this a 1-button build that only uses Forcewave and nothing else, you should probably aim for passive devotion skills (that activate when you are hit by monsters) next, for example Light Of Empyrion.
im getting oneshotted… not fun.
edit: nevermind… i took a wrong turn and faced mobs 6 levels higher than me.
edit 2: i went back at lvl 24 and tought those pesky playerkiller mobs a lesson!
Here is the 2-button Trozan 51% CDR build. All contents available.
fun to play
Also here is the 0 button Wind devil druid. All contents available
Elemental Cadence on a Battlemage is the least amount of buttons I’ve had in an endgame build that feels good on shard 31 and up, and it’s easy to gear up too because before you get specific amulets, armor, helmet, shoulders you can use the Shattered Realm set for +2 all skills. It’s reliant on a specific weapon, Scion of Arcane Force, to really take off on autopilot though any elemental 2H blue or purple should do the trick like Conduit. There’s buttons on the hotbar as emergency buttons and you don’t have to press them until after shard 30 in the SR.
any1 know why game stutters and lags alittle when moving? i have 32gb ram, 4080 super and amd 5900x. it should run smooth imo.
can be different things, there has sadly not been 1 universal cause pinpointed
to some it’s cpu related, to others it’s gpu, or background processes, even something as simple as install+save location or having a antivirus process like active shield/active scan protection running
it’s like a grocery shopping list one might need to go through
here is a thread going over some stuff High FPS vs. HQ Graphics - the best balance?
i don’t think it covers all, but is like a neat little baseline to try iirc
stuff like CPU trick, disabling active scans/shield for antivirus, ensuring various background processes aren’t interfering, having game install and save on ssd etc i don’t remember if was mentioned
