Apart from the “one-shot” characteristic, which is self-explained, I was wondering if those chests really do deliver always a blue (or purple sometimes) item. If there’s a 100% drop rate to have a blue or higher item.

edit : I’m not talking about the boss chests in the squeleton key-locked dungeons.

yeah it’s a guaranteed blue and in latter difficulties a good chance for a legendary :slight_smile:

I wonder if the upcoming new Roguelike will have the seventh.

EDIT: scratch that, the seventh is one of the final bosses’ chests - checked the game files.

So no chance of Ivonda’s chest being a one shot?

So the Mad Ramblings quest - if you give her the note without looting her stash, she will spawn a chest nearby named “Ivonda’s Gift.”

So far it’s 2 for 2 for me to get an epic from it.

(Necro posting but didn’t wanna open a topic for a silly question…)

I have 2 characters who are missing 1 one-shot chest each. Is there anyway to find out which one without running the whole campaign on 3 difficulties?

So the wiki list five OS chests in FG, are they any missing ?

The five are :

  • in Korvan Basin (missed that one on my first playthrough)
  • in Sandblown Ruins (where the gravedigger brothers are)
  • in Ruins of Abyd
  • in one of the tomb of the Valley of the Chosen (random spawn)
  • reward chest after beating the final boss like Log and Theo have.

that would put the final total of chests to 35.
