I havent been there yet, so I added it under Act 3 since that was what I came up with trying to google its location. Let me know if that is wrong.

Can anyone confirm if Ominous Lair does indeed still contain a One-shot Chest?
If so, where and what type of chest?

My newish character in 1.0.0.9 could not find it after repeated searches in Normal or Elite, now in Ultimate and searched once but no chest still.
Searched the areas adjacent to Ominous Lair too.

Update: Finally found it in Ominous Lair on Ultimate, but I think I did not find it on Normal and Elite.

It’s sometimes in the Underground Transit passageway, not in the Lair itself.

Do you know where about in Underground Transit? Would like to hunt for it again in Normal/Elite.

So, we starting a new list for AoM?

I found 3 so far:

Gloomwald side quest
Ugdenbog - an underground cave, also has a devotion shrine
Desolate Wastes, seems to spawn in a random area?

Malmouth Harbor - in the top north after the bridge to Crown Hill, near the tree.

I presume the Fleshwarped Stash in the Infestation level is also an exalted chest? It dropped a blue for me, not sure if coincidence.

That’s 5 total so far. I remember someone saying there should be 7 total?

One of Ivonda’s Stashes from Mad Ramblings dropped a blue on normal. Not sure if a coincidence or if the 6th chest.

There is a Hidden section in the Underground transit filled with spiders.

Anyone remembers all the locations for the Gloomwald quest trigger for the chest? I checked every house (callback to the farmfield’s one shot chest side quest) but I cannot find the quest start.

Only in the chest in the first room of the first house. The item is bugged at the moment though - it only drops once per character like a normal note, not once per difficulty. You’ll have to use GDStash or similar if you want to continue the quest in other difficulties for now.

Well, after 3 sweeps can’t find the 7th chest. My final list is 6 chests:

  1. Gloomwald - (quest, bugged, can only be gotten once a character due to being tied to a lore note drop). Best not activated until ultimate.
  2. Ugdenbog - unmarked cave, the location of the plant boss
  3. Desolate Wastes - just floating out in the open area
  4. Malmouth Harbor - reward for a side quest for helping stranded NPC.
  5. Malmouth Harbor - close to the Crown Hill portal.
  6. Infestation - seems to always be in the same location, corner opposite of the entrance, exit, and a side quest door.

There are a number of chests that look like they could be one shot equavilent, but I have now seen them drop no blues/purples so they are out.
