Do you think maybe about to add “open” multiplayer to Grim Dawn? Like lobby for all players or ladders, just like in Diablo 2? I think it can be really fine.
What do the game developers think about this?
If you donate a couple of millions of $ to keep the servers running, sure.

Welcome to the forum. 
The developers have made it clear over the years that Grim Dawn’s focus is as a single player game. Since the game is effectively “finished” now nothing like that is going to happen.
What there is for that sort of thing is a community run league.
