A farmer knows how to grow crops, but it is a safe bet that the Chef is more knowledgeable when it comes to cooking with the produce.
If Z wants to ban me for whatever reason, he could have already and regardless it will make 0 difference to me.
But just like I know I am not better than Mamba or Zantai when it comes to coding, I have yet to see anything from either of them displaying more knowledge or experience when it comes to pet builds.
nonsense exaggerations are always such a great responseâŚ
maybe because not all feedback is about balance ? maybe because not everything is perfectly balanced and if you stumble across something that actually isnât being able to give feedback is a good thing ?
to better balance things obviously. I am not the one opposed to them, so this is another weird one⌠Just because you have no idea about balance (you only know pet builds) and want them to be OP / stronger than what Crate wants them to be does not mean there shouldnât be any
So I must be a beginner because I donât have 200 sets of Beastcaller lying around? Cool standards, bro.
Nemesis monsters are hitting them way harder in general, and are taking less damage overall. Even regular heroes have more tankiness to them, and this is with a fully complete build. About the only thing I could do is try rolling stats to be slightly higher, but I doubt itâd help.
you forgot to add the part where it also needs to be within his sense of what is balanced and what is not. That is the problem. Mere feedback isnât enough, it needs to show a problem when viewed through his perspective.
So opinions matter when it suit you and not when it doesnât. Classy.
And you want someone who knows about balance outside of Pet builds? We can bring Madl⌠oh waitâŚ
But, you know nothing about balance regarding any of the builds though, to know what is balanced or not. So there is that.
Sorry, but if you want to keep up the âpreats blindly defending the devs routineâ, leave me out of it.
I am not sure exactly what his official job is, designer?
doesnât matter, I am not a game developer. We can go with that.
Designer yes. I believe he knows a little coding, of course, but I think as far as Grim Dawn goes heâs more about the design aspect, tweaking the numbers (obviously) etc.
I donât have a single proper endgame viable pet build, so I canât say anything valuable for sane players.
But I did some quick tests, and my HC Ultimate meme ghost Death Knight and birb Witchblade definitely became stronger and faster ugdenbloom farmers . So my impression is that this patch favors undergeared pet builds and hybrids, and some of them might even turn out good.
Is it a problem when the game developers have a vision and goal for their game based upon what their preferences? Grim Dawn is not a democracy or âeveryone can get what they wantâ. BUT they made the game modable if you wanna play it your way (like GDstashing )
It is like with any other product, devolopers have a vision but still wanna hear what people think. But ultimately, it is the developers call - not the customers.
Well he did make the game, so of course the feedback needs to be within his definition of balance. All games have a vision, and if the feedback isnât consistent with this vision, it wonât be implemented. Whatâs the alternative? The only other system I could think of would be a âDemocratic game designâ where players vote on changes and the most popular ones would be incorporated regardless of the devs wishes, but what dev would agree to that
