I found this on GT, but if it there so I guess this is not LAST SECRET, anyway how to obtain? Just random from SR bounty?
Legend has it that your reward for completing the game on Ultimate without selecting a mastery is the ability to choose the same one twice. Picking Nightblade and Nightblade lets you triple wield 1h weapons, and equipping all three heart swords at once causes them to merge into the ultimate weapon, Heartheart.
Legends are usually full of rubbish, though.
Does the legend say anything about casting both Overguards on a DoubleSoldier turning the Totally Normal Shield into an actual shield and increasing the knockdown distance on Blitz by 10000%?
Yes, but you have to dual-wield 2 totally normal shields and it only works when your co-op partner uses his double-overguard with his dw shields exactly 3.14159 seconds after you do and it has to be performed on SR 100 in the treasure room.
yep, seems like a random drop. friend got it from a chest in SR about a week ago.
Guys I seriously need to take a break. I mean…last night I dreamt that I found the last secret. First you had to click on the turtle symbol from Devil’s Crossing gate. Clicking it would actually place the turtle in the inv. Next a circular staircase opened, can’t remember the location, which ended in a network of rooms underground like the ones you see in SoT. And can’t remember anything from that point onward…
Sorry to spoil your theory, but the name was Ralyoth. It’s mentioned in the 3rd Sins of the Forgotten entry.
Maybe the new pet, the celestial maggot has got something to do with the secret. Unfortunately I haven’t got it myself yet.
Been thinking, especially after slogging my way through the Crate quest and being unable to do anything against the super-boss. Maybe the secret drops from one of the regular OP Oversize Maggots?
I admire your thought process to find some secret sequence, but it’s actually not very complicated at all.
Doesn’t mean it’s not deviously “simple” though. Good luck!
Looks like we’ve got a winner to this year’s “most cryptic sentence written”
Pointless Endeavours 2: Electric Boogaloo:

He could have at least said thanks.
I wonder if you can only jump into the Maw if it’s the hottest hours of the day based on my PC’s clock rather than in-game. Hm. Maybe I’ll try it at some point.
kinda assumes the Maw will just be future content anyway
I killed all of them, took me half an hour of dying, but I got it. They dropped nothing. At all.
Didn’t think anybody had been able to kill any of them. Those damn maggots are up there with Crate of Entertainment in terms of damage. Before those maggots the highest damage I received in Forgotten Gods on Ultimate was a measly 2970.
They are rather easy to kill if you play a pet build
Eh, I need to retool my Cabalist summoner. Though right now I’m having a lot of fun mostly with Retaliation Warlord.
Ever since Zantai mentioned something about a subtle clue in the game world, I’ve been thinking about this bit of the Infernal Ruins. There’s a part of the Eye of Ulzuin (I think that’s what it’s called?) where the land makes a pretty clear shape of a finger pointing at something. (Which finger is doing the pointing is left as an exercise for the viewer.)
Retaliation is kind of in the OP levels atm
Pets have got nothing on that.
Retaliation doesn’t really help you when the maggots chunk you for 29k a pop though.
Also to the person that wanted help with the maggots: They don’t aggro unless you attack near one of them. If you have an aura or guardians of empyrion or something else that deals constant damage in an area, that counts as attacking as far as the maggots are concerned. Obviously you need to hightail it out of there once you’ve done what you need to do then.
Its purpose is clear as day, summon maggot crawling down to the great maw in desert.
One maggot seems to be an appetizer, maybe feed it a right amount will do some wonder.
Just kidding, don’t try it.
