Please consider reducing Seal of Ancestry Crafting material cost

As it stands, you need 48 Chthonic Seals of Binding to craft a single Seal of Ancestry due to the Oleron’s Blood x 4 requirement.
Seal of Annihilation with the Black Tallow x 4 requirement only needs 12.
Please reconsider lowering the number of Oleron’s Bloods required to craft this item, thank you.

Oleron’s blood is just so expensive it probably shouldn’t even be considered for a multi component in recipes at all/max at 1 like the others

i think in general Tallow’s cost is weird, even if "thematic.
Not just compared with Aether Soul, similar resist comp, also other comps; but it then balloons the cost of craft using Tallow as part.
I get seal drop rates are generously increased, but there is still a rather large difference vs those and farming crystals, - idono maybe opinion heavily influenced by Aether Soul cost i suppose…

IIRC - Silvercore Bolts @ 36 crystals = :disappointed:, of course heavily, personally influenced.

gold weapon dmg comp (oleron blood, whetstone etc types), vs orange resist comp tho
(mark of mogdrogen is also gold and expensive craft)

That’s not too bad. You can easily get 50 (iirc) in not too much time going through port valbury outskirts and immolation. 60 if you add in the underground transit/lab backwards.

Try farming 50 seals… you get a handful here and there afaik.

That said, I already find Seal of Annihilation expensive

When I was farming my double rare bloodsworn pistol in tomb of Korvaak I ended up with over 500 seals; average of 12 per run. Definitely the best place to farm them. Another dense little area is Salazar’s hideout.

the reason you got so many seals was because you were farming the pistols “suboptimally”

Yes, those are the best place, but still sucks. Last few times I went to tomb of korvaak, I got less than 10 iirc  maybe I was unlucky.

Lol  after Nem changes I would run Korvaak tomb, Bolvar, and Salazar. Spawned both Nems consistently.

IIRC they had crafting changes in mind for the next extension (autocraft pls) so hopefully it’s on the radar

The absolute most I ever got in Tomb of Korvaak is 9. Usually I am very happy with 6. I have had a grand total of 1 drop on several occasions. 4 to 5 is generally what I see - maybe unlucky in general…

In terms of crafting a component vs. spam crafting a certain medal…component crafting is set in stone. The medal is RNG as all hell.

510 crystals for 10 crafts…plus running cancerous areas with ground effects…not that fun IMO. I swear the aether ground affects hit harder then nemesis mobs in SR 80.

But yes you can get enough crystals for one craft for every port outskirts clear and warden cellar…without taking the ancient heart into account.

I think I would personally rather run for the seals at a lower drop rate. I suppose you could run the warden’s area 4 times to avoid the port though so :man_shrugging:

Seems pretty tedious and should change…

Yes, that’s the short and easy route that you can run till you’re bored out of your mind :see_no_evil:

That said, I currently have about 150 crystals and 8 seals. From just playing the game.

Well said.

Too late lol :expressionless:

I’m sitting on slightly more then 900 seals/crystals but knowing I can only do like 18 crafts with every crystal I own…well reluctant to do so.

Maybe rerolling completion bonus on a relic should be a thing…

Yeah just gotta wait for FoA to see what happens. It’s been made clear that the item has been “retired”. Regardless great change for people who don’t have much play time.

GOAT indeed.

This. And also trying to get a specific bonus from blacksmith is still too random. Having a bit more control over these things would be ideal.

The worst part is I feel about relic completion bonus is that when I finally get the bonus; it’s almost always with a low rolled relic.

Good. That raises value of materials you collected and adds weight to crafting decisions.

It’s called “bonus” for a reason. Blacksmith adds free stats out of his good will and you’re still complaining.
