No because if that happens; Crate owes me around 100 hours then.
If you include remaking characters due to wrong Mastery…too many Mastery points or too many points in “STAT” then ive probably wasted more than 100 hours
Grim Dawn has a great replayabilty. Alot of it would be gone if you could reset ur Class or your Mastery points. So, like most Players here i dont want that.
This will not happen with the game proper, sorry. But Soulseekkor’s GD Defiler program will probably have the option to reset your masteries once he’s got it up and running. TQ Defiler has the ability so GD Defiler should as well.
Its such a bad idea… If you can respect your masterie than mean you make one char lvl85 and then you can switch to all masteries… That so bad.
If you do that you will destroy the replayability of the game(their is already no endgame, if their is no point to make a new char aswell it gonna hurt the game)
if you are really lazy you can do like lot of ppl in forum just cheat…
Having an option to reset mastery points would be amazing. Not everyone has the time to keep creating and leveling new toons past lv30.
I noticed that if anything goes wrong with a build it happens within 30-40 range. At that point you adjust or realize that pumping so much mastery was a bad idea… And to those that say ‘well you should plan before you build blah blah’ no, just no. This game has an overhelming ammount of items/attributes/possible combinations that a less experienced player is bound to make mistakes and current system is sort of a punishment
Changing masteries would be too much I agree, but having to farm for some rare mat that lowers your mastery rank to 1 for only one mastery imho would be good.
I think the game offers too many respec options right now, if anything.
Open respecs is not a free choice, it removes build stability and characters become chameleons. Given that rolling new characters to perfect a build is part of the appeal, respecs effectively remove that.
Don’t let it concern you, because it won’t be long until you will be configuring new builds and referring to the old ones to insure that you don’t make the same mistakes.
I dont think its a good idea. A big problem for me playing diablo3 was that once you got to max level there was no reason to keep playing, you could respec at any time without cost.
The itemization didnt help, blizz has a terrible tendency of holding you hand, this season the best build/item will be that one, next season we will nerf it and choose another build, if players are like cattle
So… No thanks, we are good this way
And you will have ways to tweak your character once mod tools are out. No worries
