Wolves often attack and defeat them well, but if the hunter is not nearby, the body disappears. It can’t be a huge waste of resources. Let the villagers fill their stomachs with wolves!

I absolutely agree with you!
I can’t count the amount of times I have changed a hunters workspace to cover a recently slain bear, only to then forget about it and have the hunter not do anything for 1-2 years.
