(Poll) Which build(s) shall I do next? SSF - for "beginners"

I close poll 12 november and start with build the friday the 13th

As it stands, looks like close call between 2H warder and Drain Essance! But my favorite stun jacks build is closing in  Anything can happen

Stun Jacks is way too easy to level with, don’t let it win !

I can add horn of gandarr build too

I know I heard someone said that all skills are viable in normal and elite!

I would second that. I’m trying a SSF Vitality Savagery Ritualist right now, level 68 in Act 3 Elite and it’s pretty much a cakewal right now. Yea, I’m a tryhard when it comes to “make Savagery great again”!

vitality savagery seems interesting :open_mouth:

Horn is a support skill and you’ll always have more powerful fillers / other skills so that it’s not the main source of damage. In reality you’ll be leveling with something else. Unless you really level with just HoG. But then you would practice self-harm.

I vote for Drain Essence as it’s probably the most uncomfortable one, at least for a period of time unless you cheat by using other mastery/component skills too much.

Well I leveled the Aegis paladin with Aegis all the way instead of WoP and Storm Box so I WILL COMMIT to the life draining!

For sword and shield build, I would cheat with forcewave though :open_mouth: or craft relic and at least dual wield weapons ( https://www.grimtools.com/db/items/1473 )

yea, but sadly, not very good item support. Korvan Halberd is kinda good but supports wrong skill and damage conversion isn’t that good as well. Good devotion options on the plus side.

I’d just focus on bone harvests and use auto attacks in between

There is one but it’s one-handed sword. And a faction item.

LoL I forgot that, it’s not savagery support but it should do the job

got kind of the same idea, but I’m using siphon souls instead of bone harvest for the OA shred and I’m not quite sure about some of the items. There are some good options for Ill Omen and Siphon Souls for additional RR.

Also, not going for Dying God as I don’t like it that much. I took a kind of “safer” devotion route and put some points into Obelisk. That seems a bit overkill on the DA though, so it might be subject to change

Bone harvest deals too much damage I think to neglect. Also soul harvest charges your savagery with increased weapon damage. Also good AoE

Dying god is also too much damage to neglect :open_mouth:

One can also use Call of grave to boost damage now and then

DA you can get just by crafting higher tier components like ugdenbog leather, blood crystal and topazes

I made this very recently. The voidsoul is a fun set. I found playing this and making this was very easy. Of course you need the items so in that sense it is not exactly beginner, but a very fun build. Also with cooldown skills so no need to really build attackspeed or castspeed. If you just play a bit with a controler or so it works fine. Anyway maybe just for inspiration.

There are tons of endgame builds as inspiration and I think a nice withblade blade arc guide too  by nery

@vizix why dont you make build topic of that build?

Yes, as said, devotions might still be a subject to change. Maybe I’ll go with Dying God but keep Siphon Souls. When you can shred OA you don’t need that much DA right?

You only need like 2800 effective DA, and with 3 ugdenbog leather and 2 bloodied crystals you get 3x30 + 2x40 = 170 DA which is blood boil rank 13/12

But there is gonna be much trickier (impossible) to get damage from components and affixes that compensate loss of bone harvest and soul harvest.
