Been there quite a few times now and am yet to find it.
Through some bookcases and over a bridge to grandmother’s house we go.
I can’t find it. Is it within one of these many seem-to-be-secret places I can’t access ?
I found it in two places so far (might have more), one is inside the house in the top corner of the map, the other one is at the onion (I think) field, close to the Skeleton Key gates. I’m not at home now, so I can’t snap a screen. Will try that when I’ll get home.

Thanks a lot, i didn’t know there was a OS chest in the area (that was one of my complaint about that place by the way). now i’m thankful i’ve yet to give it a try in Ultimate 
There must be at least one more place. I searched those two places (based on your text descriptions) thoroughly yesterday and couldn’t find one in either. I know there’s 3 places the one shot can spawn in SoT, not sure about BoC because that one is so much easier to see because of the visual giving it away.
there’s a little cave tucked away outside the Key gate that looks like a great spot to hide something, but when i went through it was a regular ornate chest. might be a spawn point though.
I don’t think so, I’m aware of that one and the other hidden spawn point to the south in the “farm” area (small cave in the NE of this region)

And on the minimap from my previous post it’s the house on the ranch, top, right from the Skeleton Key gates.
Good spot! Will be playing on the weekend so will check all 3 spots and find it, finally!

I checked all 3 spots, no chest, there must be another spawn location. I’m doubtful this chest even exists: I did at least 20 runs in Port Valbury searching everywhere, including these 3 spots, without success…
Or am I so unlucky that it spawned each time in this (at least) 4th spawn location ?

I’m with you on this. I did the same thing and I’m doubtful it exists as well. I took screenshots of the 3 locations in the same game showing them as all blank but I’m at work at the moment. Can someone who has seen this one shot in the latest build please post a screenshot to show we’re not losing our minds?
I never found a oneshot chest in Valbury, which to me means there isn’t one

Huh? There’s a one shot chest? Haven’t seen it at all myself in 4 runs 
3 of which were on different characters.
no point, cleared the level each time and never found a oneshot chest in any of them
