Pre-order Support

No problem, we understand.

Our automated key emailer is hosted on an Amazon server and it seems that some email services have blacklisted this IP, probably due to the previous owner using it to send out spam-mail.

Our company email is entirely separate though and hosted through Google, so it is very unusual that you have been unable to reach our support address.

I was able to locate your key based off the information I had available. I will send it out shortly. Please send me a private message, at your convenience, if you don’t receive your game key within of this posting.

Again, sorry for any inconvenience.

Sorry for the late reply I have recieved the code from you thanks very muchly!!

Just placed a Lengendary order; received receipt.
Nothing within the RECEIPT popped-out as a KEY.
(transaction number does not equal key-number, I’m guessin’?)
(nor works as a key when input into any key-like fields… know what I’m sayin’?)

Am I being impatient?
Does Key-Assignment rely upon Human Intervention?
Will I not receive a key until an actual human processes my order?
Which is fine… seriously. I’m not an impatient person.
I just don’t know what your process is…

I would wait a bit, if you still not got it tomorrow, I would PM medierra, as there have been people that have not received keys, because of email issues, so anyway, I would wait a bit, if you still not got your key, PM medierra

that is what I suggest

Thanks, Matthew.
I will wait.

i had the same issue. you should pm medierra with your transaction id. he’ll then re-send your key to your mail adress. I got in a few hours. grtz

Woooooo, drunken reading comprehension fail.

Everything I needed to know was already posted in the thread, I was just too blitzed to absorb it yesterday evening. I’m actually surprised I was able to compose a legible post.
Someone could get rich by inventing a breathalyzer for computer keyboards to prevent drunk-posting, like the ones they attach to the vehicle ignitions of people convicted of DUI to prevent them from starting their vehicles if they’ve been drinking.

Anyway, sorry 'bout that, guys.

Sorry for the question, but I wanna be sure… the last week I received a card ā€œrewark paymentā€ american express for the rebate of my video card.

Can I use this card to pay the game?.. I can’t spend the card here in the salvador :stuck_out_tongue:

Easiest way to find out is to just go ahead and try it. If it says accepted, then, well, there you go. If it says declined, well, then, :frowning:

I like Paypal about as much as eating concrete, so what I am going to do is conduct a test for prepaid gift cards (visa) that can be purchased from post offices and supermarkets. If this works I shall let you know as these cards are seen online as temporary ā€œcredit cardsā€ with a set limit and time to use. They range in amounts from $20 - $200 normally but other countries may well have higher limits.

Watch this space…

STOP PRESS:

I have just looked at Authorize.net support page for the use of gift cards and this is their repsonse to the question about the cards use through their system…

Answer

Authorize.Net can process any payment card with a major card brand’s logo as if it were a credit card. However, merchants accepting gift cards and other prepaid payment cards may experience an Address Verification Service (AVS) decline based on a default setting for their Authorize.Net Payment Gateway account.

AVS allows merchants to validate the customer’s billing address before accepting a credit card transaction. However, for prepaid cards, the actual customer’s billing address often will not be associated with the gift card, or will not exist on file at the issuing bank. With the default payment gateway AVS settings in place, this may result in a rejected transaction.

To allow for the smooth processing of prepaid cards, please take the following steps to turn off the appropriate default payment gateway setting:

1. Log into your Merchant Interface at https://account.authorize.net

2. Click Settings in the left side main menu.

3. Click Address Verification Service under the Security Settings header.

4. Click to deselect the checkbox labeled "Address Information for cardholder is unavailable (U)".

5. Click Submit.

Your AVS settings are now updated to allow the processing of prepaid card purchases with unavailable address information. For more information regarding AVS, please visit our online video tutorial at http://www.authorize.net/videos .

So it seems to me that the merchant settings are important for the acceptance of these cards. It will pay you to look into this I think.

As the problem seems to be linking the buyers card to their address I suggest that you obtain a prepaid gift card that requires registration using ones address. I believe this will link the card to you so the address of the card and your ordering of the game through authorize.net to match up.

ATTENTION!! The prepaid cards WORK! See my latest post in PAYPAL post for more info.

Having an issue with my key atm, didnt think it deserved an email yet (hoping someone can point as to whats wrong :D).

Went to sort the ingame credit to my first key, all went fine said registered thanks. Just gave my friend the other key, enter key and email address click button and it just reloads the page nothing else, seems broken? Its the $98 edition which has two credits so im guessing one key still is yet to be assigned or something?

I think both keys are bound to your email-address, so you are only given one credit (yours, who is the backer).

The possibility to give a second key to a friend is just a bonus as it seems to me.

hmm, but it says in the chart 2x credit? http://www.grimdawn.com/images/kickstarterchart.jpg

odd :L.

Well, this chart is new to me, thank you for posting.

Now I’m curious too.

you can PM one of the devs, and ask to transfer the key to another user, then once done, the user will then be able to do the name credits with with whatever email address the second users asks to be assigned to the key, I done this once already, so you just email the devs with whoever you want to transfer to key too, and the key in question,

Both keys are bound to the email address on your Kickstarter account. That’s the email you enter for all your keys on the set your in-game credit page.

If you want to change the email address associated with one of your keys we can do that, you just need to email [email protected] with the key, the current email address, and the new email address.

Thankyou Rhis for taking the time to respond :), appreciate it and i have dropped you a PM now. Again thanks for your time and being quick to solve my request, cant wait for the game!.

Disregard. I found the update on Kickstarter with the explanation.

Actually, am I supposed to redeem both keys? Or give one key to my +1? Sorry, thanks.

i have purchased the patron edition last weekend and got no key or a mail hmmm and the support didn’t answerd my mail :frowning:

try a PM to the devs instead, you may get a better response, its possible there might be a problem with your email service, hence not getting a key or indeed a response, so PM a dev, state what email address you used and the date or purchase, they should be able to find your details and resend the key, or if there is a problem with your email, maybe to another email account
