Production rate to low on sawmills and brick factories?

I am sure it is possible to build and run both sawmills and brick facotries more efficiently than I do. Still, hopefully, mine are not worse than the average players.

I have a village with about 1250 villagers. In this village I have 5 sawmills producing ~1000 planks per year. This is not enough for the village size resulting in buildings having to wait to be built. Is there an upgrade level missing from the sawmill to boost production rather than building another one?

Brick factories have a similar situation. I have 4 brick factories producing about 350 bricks per year. The situation with supply and demand is similar to the plank situation, 350 bricks per year is by far not enough. Could they also benefit from another upgrade level?

Sawmills can be upgraded to a t2, brick works can’t - they stay at t1.

Yes, thanks, I should have added that my sawmills are at level 2.

That’s as high as they go ingame.

Yes, I think the game would benfit from increasing the production rate a bit on both sawmills and brick factories.
