It would be great if you could queue up a building upgrade before having all the resources, similar to being able to drop a building to build and letting it grab resources as they are available. It gets really annoying mid to late game for upgrades that require iron specifically and you have to do jank things to save up and then hope it wont be grabbed before you make it to the upgrade button.
