I want to highlight this again, that the raiders seem to be able to loot the vault while it is still instact. This has to be a bug.
Why? They can take it out of the trading post without destroying it so why shouldnât they take it out of the vault too? Vault is just another storage facility, itâs not like it has invisible walls to protect it.
I think I assumed that when it was called a vault and looks sturdy in stone, that it would be considerable more difficult to loot than a warehouse. But it seems it is not to any noticeable extent. IMHO I think the vault should be more difficult to raid.
Simply adding âHit Pointsâ to the Vault to work as they do with the walls and gates have might work: once the Raiders knock down the Hit Points, the Vault Doors are open and they can get in and pillage. The building still wouldnât be an absolute defense, but would slow them down until possibly your troops cold intervene.
Sounds like a good solution
If raiders can find anything more than a bit of loose change in my vault then they are doing better than me. Never much money in there even when I do have gold.
A vault, by definition, is not something you just reach a hand through and pull something out of. There should have to be some level of destruction to the building to gain access. A market is a place you walk into and walk out of. If you choose to steal something, then the access to do so is available.
Make the Vault cost more to accomplish this or change the name but the easy removal of gold from a vault is simply counter intuitive.
I completely agree!
I kinda agree with some players in here about the vault. the structure needs and upgrade path to make more secure and durable and difficult for raider.
Why? Seriously? Do you not know what a vault is? Its whole purpose is to be a secure storage; entirely the opposite a trading post, whose entire purpose is to facilitate the movement of things out of it! A vault is not âjust another storage facilityâ; moreover it has very visible walls to protect it - only, in game they donât.
