[REL]Grim Quest

I intend to add more skills, but atm I am taking a break from modding for a bit, wanna relax a bit and enjoy my creation… heh.

As for the mastery bonuses, I considered that. I might do that for the time being, it’s something that was done in SV iirc, past 40 points you received additional bonuses beyond attributes.

Hi, I’m playing Warfare mastery, the tier 1 skill that have 8% activate ( currently at work, can not remember the name ^^) say that it have 10s duration, 12s recharge but it only start recharge after its duration is complete, meaning 22s recharge, is this intended?

That’s how all those types of skills are. Fighting Spirit and Arcane Will from GD are the same. Technically Fighting Spirit has a 24 second cooldown if you put it that way, and only an 8 second duration.

It’s not meant to be up all the time, but they are affected by cooldown reduction I believe. (at least, adrenaline is affected by it’s modifier, which gives cooldown reduction)

So the CD reduction is base on 12s, meaning until I got 100% CDR I can not have it active all the time right?

I’m playing your mod in Grimarillion, try my char on the Crucible, and woala, all skill point ,ring collection of GQ gone:rolleyes: should have not done that, I should have not done that.

:X

Sorry to hear that. I didn’t even know you could use Grimarillion chars in Crucible.

As a general rule of thumb - don’t take modded characters outside of their mods.

This is intended. Similar skills in the base game like Fighting Spirit work the same way.
E/: Welp, didn’t see there was a new page with the answer already.

  • Wherein TQ Mastery arranged TQIT order.

Update on my hunter playthrough. Just completed normal difficulty.

Gear is mediocre, I probably needed some more chaos/bleed/vitality resist but shrug Worked out anyway. The DPS I think is misleading, as my projectiles have about a 1 in 4 chance to pierce through targets or so, not including the aoe burst from scatter shot and shotgun effect from Volley…

Proof that I killed log. All 11 hours played on Grimarillion. That seems long. Is it excessively long? I couldn’t see it being any easier though, to be honest. I was one shotting entire mobs with 2 or 3 shots with marksmanship…

The only time I almost died was after playing the whipping boy with Log’s tentacles. The 2 deaths I accrued from the last time I updated were BOTH from the instances where there were about 5 aetherial terraformers that locked up my game for a good 3 seconds, by the time I realized what was happening I got hit by about 20 aether beams and died.

The build. Going for a ranger, needed the spirit for new jewelry so I started pumping the mastery. The goal after this is to reach 2 wolves, then rush for Strength of the Pack, and work on Heart of Oak for some more tankiness.

Problems:
Monster Lure not quite doing what it’s intended but then again I only have one point. I have to check to see if it’s not bugged like Coredweller was.

Wolves and Dryad are very squishy at this point. Not sure there is much I can do about that since I didn’t start with them…I suppose once I max the wolf summons and Heart of the Oak they’ll be a little stronger…

+1 death from green floor. lol rip

Is that a new relic?

Yes, artifact from TQ. There are about 75 new ones included with GQ.

More than 1:4. Cornucopia makes 2H rifles pierce by default (hidden stat). Should be 28% on your Rifle if I’m not mistaken. I believe the two stats will stack additively, so with 5/12 PunctureSA, you’ll have 53% pierce chance.

You probably know this, but the way the character handles spears is incorrect for Grim Dawn. I’m running around smacking everythign with the butt of the spear.

The reverse spears issue is a long-standing one if you checked the thread.

Hi Guys, beautiful Mod, I would still want that Nature Mastery a Pet Bonus gets on the attributes bar, as% damage, all speed and resistances.
I Love Pet Master but I think without them will have a hard time to Ultimate, just in terms of the resistance elements.
Just a suggestion ^^

Recently installed the Grimirillion mod, and I seemed to have run into an issue with the Hunting Mastery. The Gouge skill does not seem to be working with guns of any kind.

How did you come to that conclusion? Test on the dummy, if the dummy bleeds, it’s working.

It might have just been me, but it does bleed. Perhaps I just have the proc chance too low.

hey asylum, does the updated version of this mod already patched in dail0055 version ?

He would know just as well as you since he’s not involved with DAIL :p.
