Awesome update! Thank for your hard work. New artefacts are so well done. It’s time to start a new character.
New hotfix for a few minor issues I ran into while playing last night:
Fix for staff costs
Fix for missing artifact gamble.
Sprite mana per level reduced drastically, no reason for 4k.
Sprite mana cost per level reduced
Sprite pierce damage per level adjusted, is slightly less now but there is also a physical damage component, so overall it is higher. Poison damage increased by 1xskillLevel.
Briar Ward health scaling increased slightly.
Skyfire Pendant - now has a 4 second cooldown.
Druidic Wreath - fixed a controller issue
Will come to nexus soon, atm I have to packages ready on MEGA, a full version and a database version. If you have 145, drop the 145a database for the fixes. If you haven’t downloaded 145 yet, download 145a. (the 145 link will be replaced with 145a.)
Grim Quest 1.4.5a, Full:

I’ve sent these fixes to jiaco and Kath already for updates, so if you play DAIL or Grimarillion, just wait patiently I suppose.
A year ago i asked you about soulvizier skills and you answered reluctantly and said “not my target but maybe in the future”… now i see spirit =)). Good job
My question is; in spirit there are some skills that unknown celestial powers are attached. You did this due to its being only way to add some property by default? Engine limitations?
Secondly can you please post your files on dropbox or somewhere we can download without login.
Thanks so much
neither mega nor nexus require a login…
Yes they do since it is over 150 mb (it said that). For the nexus, i can’t download probably due to adblock plus but i had two option register free or login to download.
Mega works just fine without logging in.
No mega does not, I have download this from there and never had to register / login
Serve thy the master’s bonuses are not reflected on the stats page even buff icon is present. Does it really increase the damage at full hp?
It’s a template bug. It only affects the player at full HP for some reason. I just reported it a little while ago here. I will change it in the next hotfix to be a skill modifier, same with Spirit Ward.
Thanks for dedicated work. It is just refreshing to play the mod in grim dawn’s universe. Also BIG FU**ING thanks to bringing soulvizier spells, just awesome =)
My question is about dissemination and accelerated growth. So, accelerated growth adds hp regen and decrease cooldown for 2 seconds or adds it? For the second question, dissemination increases hp regen and radius rite? In the tooltip it writes 3 active energy cost per second, it actually adds 3 mana to spells mana cost rite? Since it is not an active spell.
Also one more thing: Could you add an effect when my allies are affected by regrowth, thus without checking their hp bar i can understand they are in the range.
Accelerated growth doesn’t affect the cooldown.
Dissemination increases the mana cost and the active mana cost, as it says. If you have no points in Accelerated Growth, you get no regeneration since the Regrowth buff has no duration without it… While the duration is active, you have to sustain the buff with an active energy cost.
Probably won’t add an effect, I have other plans for Regrowth I want to try but we’ll see. I had an unfinished fx that I wanted but it was really bad looking because it was just too much visual clutter.
My second question; Nature has only 1 spell that can activate on attack devotions and spirit has two(For example shepherd’s call). Thus can you make our pets be able to proc devotion spells?.
Pets do proc devotion spells. The restriction of celestial passives/pet spell was in the core mechanic of Grim Dawn. I don’t like it either but it’ll be pretty OP otherwise.
It is not on the list when i unlock a proc chance devotion. There is just one which is Plague. Ex. Shepherd’s cork
This is the same for any other mastery, which is what Samael was saying. Pets just can’t take certain skills. If you want to use Shepherd’s Crook you’re gonna have to use an item ability or a second mastery.
Ok but this will be problematic future wise? I am soothsayer, only 3 spells are eligible for devotion procs. Plague, vision of death and ternion attack. Vanilla masteries did not have this problem. As a soothsayer, i put one point on plague to proc shepherd’s cook but what will i do in the future? You can add transmuter to insidious miasma to make it useable debuff spell maybe? Because i dont want just 1 point spells just to proc devotions.
Hey, is it possible to fix the beam spells to work with spear or staffs? I hope it is)
The two modifiers on plague are worth investment (debuff damage and resists).
Being a pet build, put damaging devotions on your pets. Acid spray and elemental storm are my favs for additional debuff action.
Are you wanting to play a pokemaster build or a caster hybrid?
As Kath said, you’re more than able to play a petbuild using other devotions besides things like Bysmiel’s Bonds and Shepherd’s Crook. If you need to proc them, you can use those skills you mentioned or an itemskill. Without changing how devotions work its impossible to ‘fix’ this easily. I’ve been using Falcon Swoop on Wolves/Nymph on a few of my chars, it’s pretty nice because of how frequently they can proc it.
