[REL] Grim UI

So I could not resist today to play the game again, actually I wanted to continue playing tomorrow.

What can I say, I am slowly missing the words for this fantastic tool.

These parts look really good, with the last wooden, of course, perfectly fitting the theme and the HUD Toolbar. Thank you.:+1:

Do you know if there is a version of UI Hoarder / UI X-Smuggler, smaller?, I think a Stash just 50% bigger or twice than the original is more than enough and will be more manageable and less resolution demanding. But mostly, just nicer to use.

Thank you! :metal:

Thank you! :metal:

That’s quite a compliment, so thank you! :metal:

I do and there is not, sorry. What you’re saying makes sense though.

Edit:
A ā€œmini X-Smugglerā€ā€¦

Updated the OP Add Ons section with the Shattered Realm title bar.

I’m considering making this and the Dangerous/Treacherous Domain (wood 2 version) permanent additions to Grim UI. Any objections?

A note concerning the Crucible. For the time being, I’m going to say that it’s ā€œnotā€ supported. This only means that I’m not able to re-texture the title bar and have the game override the default one. This is due to how Grim UI works and the Crucible being a custom game (standalone mod).

I don’t know of a way to get around this, or if it’s even possible. The only solution that comes to mind is updating the Crucible’s UI.arc file with my texture(s), which involves the ArchiveTool. That goes against the whole idea behind Grim UI’s ease of use\customization.

I apologize for this but, it’s beyond my control.

So I have no objection to add these two (SR and Wood 2).
I would even say that it is part of it!

Do not worry if Crucible can not do that. No problem. The game does not get worse …

Note: the SR title bar looks very good! :+1:

Fine by me. We still have the ā€œAdd-onsā€ anyway. I like that its plug-n-play like that as it opens up the potential for you to just toss out ā€œalternateā€ UI elements whenever the mood strikes you (or even whenever someone in the community with the knack for it bangs one out) and the users can just mix and match whatever they like.

Understandable. Whatever works best for you.

Cool. Thank you very much!

Thank ya, sir. I’m always open to suggestions for improvements, such as the red button. But I agree, the plug-n-play aspect makes this thing really simple for adding or subtracting items.

I will investigate the Crucible situation until I either figure it out or conclude that it just can’t be done. Just didn’t want to seem like I’m closing the door on it…not yet anyways.

Updated Grim UI with the Dangerous\Treacherous Domain and Shattered Realm title bars.

I’ll leave both title bars in the Add Ons section for a few days. No sense in re-downloading 23MB for 100KB worth of stuff.

Well, all of my efforts to change the image for the Crucible title bar with the ā€œSettingsā€ method were unsuccessful. I tried everything I could think of, and some shit I knew wouldn’t work but, no dice. So, the only option to get it changed is to add the file(s) to the UI.arc itself. That’s the only way I could get it done, anyhow.

I’m open to suggestions.

First of all, congratulations on your work. Secondly, it is constantly updated and perfected.

I would like to make a suggestion. At present, there seem to be two different texture styles. I hope to improve them.

But I think that’s intent. I like the design with the grass on the floor and especially the stone wall.

But you could possibly provide the upper part and the edge with a wooden structure.

What do you mean @JMD?

What I mean is edge and tone. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you and I understand what you mean.

The shrine windows I framed in stone because they’re made of stone, so it made sense at the time.

I’ll take a look at changing the frame and the title areas.

Thank you both for the suggestions! :+1:

Updated Grim UI with new Shrine windows to match the overall theme better.

Thanks goes to @tt300 and @tean101 for the suggestions! :+1:

Crucible is now supported and is in the Add Ons section.

If you want to use the new image, it will involve either using the UI.arc file I modified or updating yours. Sorry, this was the only way I could accomplish this.

I can re-texture the frame. In fact, I was looking into that earlier today.

thanks JMD, you are the best.
