Nope. No one has bothered to post builds.

Ok yeah well… He is the only one lol.

Maybe this is just because I’m a noob at grimarillion, but it seems at times the difficulty is damn near impossible in early game. The increased mob sizes aren’t the issue as much as the seemingly increased resist all w/ increased HP, and mobs that are all hero/champion enemies.

Is it so difficult because I have it set to veteran, or is this just the way it’s supposed to be and I’m being noob? I very much appreciate it being more difficult than base game, but at times it seems almost impossible to play solo.

Just curious.

Just stopping by to say that I look forward to try the new version updated with Corn. I also would like to play the D3 mod classes in Grimarillion. They are really well made.

Any specific monster type? removing veteran should help, you can add it back on later, but I have tried to tone down the starting parts, and I have made it through with all sorts of toons, but I have been playing Grimmest since forever…so not sure what to say here.

We are getting a plan in place for the next Grimarillion which should have as much of the new Corn as possible. Once that is stable, we will look into what new masteries might go in next.

In any case, the 1.0.0.8 patch should not have any adverse effects on your Grimarillion mod. If you find anything off, please let me know. There is no new release planned until Corn is stable enough to build off that. But I will reconsider, if there are some 1.0.0.8 related bugs that I did not find.

Hey I really love the grimmest feature, Is there a version that has a better XP rate? I would love to level just as fast as in the normal game, but i feel like that isn’t happening. 1/4 xp seems a little harsh and it makes things feel very slow going, I got to Homestead in Grimmest at level 30, this seems 5-6 levels off what i normally should be.

Thanks all for your replies I appreciate it.

One issue I’m having is that my shared stash keeps disappearing. Whatever I put in it, ends up actually only being seen by the original toon, or completely disappearing.

Any possible answers/fixes?

Thanks

EDIT: More specifically, it looks like none of them are actually ā€œSharedā€. Looks like they’re all individual and what I put in there is only there for the toon that placed it. Is this supposed to be the case in Grimarillion?

When you open your stash, the one that opens is the character stash.

You need to click the Item Transfer button at the top of the Smuggler (stash) interface to open up the shared stash.

You can then buy up to 3 more stash tabs. These will then be available on the left side of the Item Transfer area. Click the buttons to see each stash tab.

As far as I know, Grimarilllion’s stash operates the same as the vanilla game.

I know all of this stuff from vanilla, and that’s what I am doing but it seems to Keep resetting to empty stash

Are you using any third party stash management tools?

No I was actually considering item assistant to see if it would fix it.

Also I randomly will start at the new toon generation site instead of normal location in devils crossing

Also seems problem started after I deleted a toon but it keeps coming back. Every time it comes back it resets my stash

That is about normal progression… and the xp rate should be the same as vanilla.

XP is cut in half, not 1/4, and there are a bit more than 2x monsters. Progression should be close to normal, in my experience.

For the lost stash and toons that spawn at the gallows, it realky sounds like your save data is getting messed up.Or maybe you followed an old non-symlink guide that makes toons and stash visible within mods, but nothing gets saved? I think this happens if you just try to cooy paste the save fiiles from the main to the user folder.

Any way to fix whatever’s broken?

Did you just copy/paste your save data for toons and stash from main to user folders?

If so, you need to follow the guide that uses symbolic links…I think I even downloaded and installed a program for this so that the functions show up in the right click menu in windows: http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/linkshellextension.html

This way, you can use the save files in both vanilla and mods and the changes from either will save properly.

Thanks for helping me.

I ended up backing up my save data, completely deleting cloud saves, deleting local content, and full uninstall, reinstall, and then was able to reload my vanilla characters.

I’m backing up my current GD set up in steam and then I’ll reinstall grimarillion and try to use the same process.

The link you provided for setting up a link between stashes - is that superior to using a stash manager like item assistant? I’m assuming you take the vanilla stash and make that your source, and take the same file in grimarillion and make it the symbolic link? Or do you link it to an empty folder? Hard to say from the instructions in that hyperlink. I just want to avoid having any issues, and if need be I’ll just not share the stashes.

Thank you!

I tried to link the yt vid at the point where Depra starts to start to try to start to actually be informative. Bear with him, he is special, but the vid had enough information for me to figure it out. (damn, I miss depravities :frowning: )

I have no experience with stash managers…so cannot help you there.

Consider this experimental for now. I grabbed pretty much all of Corn and have updated Grimarillion to v038 (ignore the fact that there are versions you missed during 1.0.0.8 testing, please).

In any case, attributes are still as in vanilla, that will come next, but at least with this version, the Crate masteries are now fully Cornucopia versions and most of the Cornucopia changes, with the exception of a bunch of items, are integrated. (Due to their half-inclusion of autopick, I have a lot of dbrs to sift through to check the items.)

But I did get GDForge integrated. Just forgot to even test it. And reading it now, I suspect it does not work, unless by chance, I got the item dbr required to unlock it.

In any case, backup your toons and possibly respecc your Demolitionists before loading in the new version.
