[REL] Grimarillion

I may sound like a mofo here, but is there a way to use the latest version ( or previous versions for that matter) without the grimmest addition?

Hi, just started using this awesome mod. Elementalist’s Ice surge skill doesn’t seem to work for me.

perhaps you are not using a compatible weapon.

Should be compatible with all weapon types.

What do you mean by not working for you, wakka1? Can you not activate it at all?

I was using a tq staff. I activated the skill but nothing happens. I tried on both empty space and on monsters. The character did start the ā€œcombat stanceā€ as if in a fight but nothing occured.

Sounds like the same issue I was having with Reaper’s Glare. I thought issues with channeling skills and staffs had been resolved, but either I’m remembering wrong or the fix for it hasn’t gotten into Grimarillion yet.

I just tried wih vanilla grim dawn weapons and it does work! Didn’t work with both TQ staves and spears though.

Hello community, is it possible to make a compilation of the mods D3 grimarillion and Gdreforge?
I do not know if the maneuver is complicated or rather easy, and if it is easy thereafter to update it.

I’m not sure which of the mods is doing this, but I can’t seem to complete the first something for nothing quest because neegan and the other 2 dude never spawn. I’ve cleared out the first 3 areas about 5 times and havent seen them once

I havent played GD in a long time and I have been trying to play this mod, installs fine; seems ok but only have Vanilla classes to choose only am Level 2,

Is the mod incompatible with previous things ive installed? I just installed DAIL 61 and my last was 48 or so but that works fine. Everything is foldered correctly and my Quest on side states v035, flavour text about finding items upside down seems ok.

What seems to be wrong?

Be sure to exit and reload GD when changing mods or between vanilla. It almost sounds you loaded vanilla first. Also, check the Grimarillion/database folder and be sure Grimarillion.arz is there.

Ps. After the next Grimarillion update, the download from the Nexus site will include an installer.

Done that, deleted all my old mods, everything works ok but the classes it seems. I have a level 100 Fangshi so I know how to use mods

a long time ago I wanted to try the Cornucopia03 mod and I couldnt get it to work at first, what I wasnt told is I had to uninstall DAIL because the menus were all screwed up. The last DAIL has no uninstaller

I havent played Vanilla GD since…final release in 2015/16 start or something.

edit: ok I got it to work by doing exactly this…

  • I reloaded an old DAIL 52 installer that had an option for 1.04
  • Deleted all mods in folder
  • Verified game data
  • Recopied over the mod and only grimarillon

Now the only difference is I can now choose all the classes, was still saying Grimmest/0.35, seems fine now

Did you ever get past this? I modified their spawns at one point, not even sure if that was released or not, but have been through that quest with at least 3 toons since then and never saw this issue.

I am a fan of the D3 mod and would consider that, if I can ever get Corn updated…Things are kinda a mess at this point and Grimarillion is just on hold waiting for Corn to find a stable point before I release another version. But when that happens GDreforge will be in cause it is now in Corn.

Either this is a Grimarillion specific bug or something from Zenith, I will put it on the to-be-looked-into list.

But then, don’t you think he gonna need to beef up whole skill potential threshold?

Since the spawn rate are just on another lvl than what feature/use on d3 mod

New starve compability issues has been fixed/revamped on Corn new rls.

Till then, please hold on little bit… Since everyone (unison mod dev)has made their major progress, yet to be release.

Again, as we have stated many times in this thread, there is no point in making a mod to enhance the difficulty through bloated spawn pools, and then increasing the strength of your skills as well. There might as well be no increase at that point.

Sorry in advance for a noob question. Been playing Grim Dawn since first released, but never tried mods until now.

Is there any tool like grim calc or even a simple list of the skill trees for the new classes? I’d like to be able to plan builds and it’s a bit cumbersome to even decide what class I am interested in since for now I can only see tech trees by selecting the class.

No lists, no tools. Closest we have is titancalc.com for the grim quest masteries, but even that doesn’t really count because the masteries are vastly different from vanilla TQ ones at this stage.

Another quick question. I noticed when playing as the Riftstalker, Multitask doesn’t populate anything regarding DPS. Is this a glitch, or is it because technically the damage is written in as a constellation bonus?

Multitask do damage in AoE around player (similar to callidor’s tempest) based on your weapon damage, something like 110% of weapon damage on 16/16, if i remember correctly. So, when you activate it, it will periodically damage enemies around player when you do damage by other skills or damage auras (Riftstalker damage aura or Night’s Chill, for example) :slight_smile:
And the more you have cooldown reductions in your build - the often Multitask will damage monsters)

just started this mod a while , got a bitoverwhelmed by the amount of classes , is there a newbie guide for the builds and stuffs ? :stuck_out_tongue:
