v044:
https://mega.nz/#!cVJ0EBgT!fo6nPIx2GV05h2qCeMWZNcD8K3C5VOMnbvoEKciXuLU

  • Updated Grimmest v1.8.
  • Maybe fixed the tags for class names.

Worked. Earth + Arcanist = ā€œAvatar of Flameā€ instead of ā€œTag not found: tagSkillClassNameā€ as of v044

My elementalist+nightblade still known as ā€œErrorNotFoundā€
Long-long className for Pursuer in main menu disappeared, thats good

With a capital ā€˜E’ ?

Iirc, I went through with a search for ā€œerrorNotFoundā€, which is a string I made up one day and put in everywhere by default as I then populated my table with the actual strings from a spreadsheet, In any event, these will all be fixed eventually. Thanks for reports. Now, can I get Hidden Path feedback? Gutworm is getting Kathaniousated atm…should be ready spoon.

No, with little ā€œeā€ - errorNotFound
As for hidden path - will test after work too

New in v045:

Corn Hotfix H
GQ fixes for crafting staves/spears
Fixed images not showing for Zenith masteries
Should have no more errorNotFound class tags
Experimental Gutworm encounter from non-released Grimmest
New monster from Asylum. Anyone want to try undead nemesis farming?

Ok now there’s a 99,9% chance its name starts with T

:stuck_out_tongue:

Hmmmm that’s a pretty high chance

Wonderful! Finally errorNotFound disappeared, ty
As for hidden path - i tested it and got one boss (which died and appeared another red-named boss) everytime, dunno if it was intended to be like that or not

I’m a few versions behind (v0.4.1 or v.0.4.2 maybe?), but the Hidden Path boss fights feel very Grimmest. I was a little confused when the guardian didn’t show up initially, but it does make it more thrilling when you kill a bunch of other heroes and then the guardian appears.

The Sentinel fight where all of the guardians respawn after the first kill is borderline too intense. I was playing on Veteran and ended up halfway back through the map before I killed everyone. Luckily I was playing a DoT Pyromancer build so I could kite. That character is in Ultimate now and I actually skipped the Hidden Path in Elite so I could try that fight when I have better gear. It might be better to ease up the fights by having 1 guardian spawn in Normal/Veteran, 2 in Elite, then all 3 in Ultimate. On the other hand, it’s the end to maybe the 2nd biggest sidequest so you don’t want to diminish the sense of accomplishment.

In the Dream Mastery, the Nightmare does not proc any CPs, specifically Twin Fang and Bull Rush. Haven’t tried any others.

I have had glitches of late after v44. The screen will tears, occasionally.

Sometimes it freezes and the character disappears but the Esc key works along with activating weapon powers. Don’t hear anything nor see any effects. Other times it will freeze and it looks like, what I imagine, the screen would look like if your character got stuck way inside the outta bounds? area off the playable map? whatever. I tried to take a screen shot but it just pasted a blank black box. Again, sound works, can activate spells, can Esc. If the map works I’ll try porting back.

got an error trying this version, when I go to the dungeon (barnabas quest) the game suddenly freeze

Sorry if this a noob question,(and feel free to remove it if it breaks any rules) but how do i update the version of Grimarillion I have? i downloaded it via the installer version, an it sees to be only version 0.3.3.

You may want to look at the stats for the Krieg’s Cleaver, here is a pic of the one i found with my level 14 Sinner,
images upload.

The issue is that when i wear it, my attacks per second goes to 2.85 and my attack speed to 220% even though the tool tip clearly doesnt state this, im guessing there is something funky with the code of the item.

Edit: Im using Grim Dawn 1.0.0.8 and Grimarillion v45

0.4.4 with installer is available from the nexus source. Though it looks like 0.4.5 has been released.

Edit: Nexus source updated to 0.4.5

The Nightmare is an odd critter. Despite its small floaty appearance, the attachment point that some skills originate from is below the ground iirc. Asylum101 has attempted to correct this to no avail. Some devotions will work fine.

Sounds like a Cornucopia error since I don’t think any of our other mods touched existing items.

There are two types of attack speed in the database, base, like the attacks per second on a weapon or the value of a character or monsters base speed, usually about 1.0. The second is used for modifiers like on affixes and skills and item bonuses (not base speed). So that 4% you’re seeing is actually 400%.

I could be wrong but that is my theory based on what you’re saying.

In the Dream Mastery, the Nightmare does not proc any CPs, specifically Twin Fang and Bull Rush. Haven’t tried any others.

It can’t proc certain devotions, it’s the only pet I couldn’t fix to proc devotions. Like Kath said, I tried to fix it but my efforts were futile. Basically it’s like this: TQ pets don’t have a particle emitter for devotion projectile skills. Skills that fire off projectiles end up emitting them underground instead. To fix this I had to add the projectile emitter attach points using TQ’s editor and go through this very long process of adding these points one by one and then converting the mesh file over several times into different formats til it finally worked. I did this with ALL the pets from GQ mod iirc, and the only one that didn’t work was the Nightmare. And the reason it didn’t work was not because the emitter didn’t work, I couldn’t tell you if it did. For some reason the model of the nightmare became a huge tangled web of polygons and it became impossible to see anything onscreen while it was summoned.

Anyway, tldr, nightmare is broken, self emitting projectile-based devotions have issues. This doesn’t include orbiting projectiles or waves, they work fine.

Grateful Dead mode

Now the is game is ruined! Ruined I say!

Just kidding. Thanks for explaining it to me and for all your hard work. It’s totally not a big deal just wanted to point that out.
