[REL] Grimarillion

Very cool mod compilation; it’s reinvigorated my desire to play Grim Dawn.

I’m curious about builds though, I’ve been experimenting with the Terror Knight, and I’m not quite sure what to cross-class with, especially given all the extra possibilities!

I’m tempted toward Champion, to make use of the bottom two rows buffs and Celestial Powers, mainly for the added retaliation/AoE clear in dealing with huge clumps of mobs, but I’m not sure if that’s really any better or worse than simply pumping points into the TK’s own AoE abilities. I don’t have too much experience with the mod yet, so I’m open to suggestions.

Terror knight is quite OP on its own. U can cross class it with whatever you want, the only problem u will have are reflects.

Yeah, as stated, I’ve read up a bit on it, and know that’s the general opinion. That’s ok, this is my first time playing back through GD in quite awhile, and I’m playing it more for fun and to get used to the mod than for a challenge.

I’m more curious about what may be considered fun, or interesting gameplay builds, rather than just “what will be the best way to afk clear my way through the game”.

Thanks, will do.

Followup, I searched around, but didn’t see any changelog; is it intended that most items no longer have any attribute requirements?

I have level requirements, and a Staff/Spear weapons have spirit/cunning requirements, but so far I haven’t seen anything else with an attribute requirement during my playthrough.

I also get a lot of staff/spear drops, but I don’t know if that’s indicative of anything other than my own dumb luck.

Cornucopia.

Thanks.

I see what people mean by TK/Champ being overpowered. I’ve only just killed Krieg, but being able to essentially hold LMB and facetank his entire room was pretty eye opening.

I think my only complaint is how passive the playstyle is. I might roll a Nightblade or Soldier (2h w/ Arcanist?) and see what changes have been made to the core classes, if anyone has any build suggestions.

Really digging the compilation though, even just learning and understanding all the changes is proving to be a lot of entertainment.

I keep getting this ring like crazy. I have had a bag full drop for me. Does anyone else share this problem? I don’t really need that many of these.

Star of Elysium

I’m assuming that this level 14 axe shouldn’t be maxing out my Attack Speed…

It is making leveling this Soldier a hell of a lot easier!

It’s a bug and has been reported already, in fact it was only one page ago.

Just chiming in to say that my TK-Shaman is giving the errorNotFound class name.

Put it on my tombstone. :furious:

Here lies errorNotFound, This Diseased Modder Has No Name.

Is this mod prone to breaking when GD updates? The last two mods I downloaded didn’t work because they didn’t bother updating to newer versions.

The simple solution to this issue is checking to see when the last update of the mod was, so long as the mod is active there are no issues.

Nevermind, I’m apparently not as good at these things as I used to be

v046:

https://mega.nz/#!0FQWwaoa!wXrZsfBoDqlhkVLiuEBEnX85TeiqPysIC_sMp5YoWsU

Updated Corn to latest version (v0.3.3I1 Hotfix)
Updated GrimQuest to latest version (v146)

I checked the tags file, errorNotFound is not found. Tk+Shaman should have a name: Wraith Knight.

As a late comer to this mod, is the development still active? Or, has it been finalized and in its current and most up to date released form?

Thanks.

I have downloaded this mod and am enjoying it!

Thanks for that.

I just now, for some reason, saw your previius post. I will release a minor bugfix update this weekend, the mod is a compilation of mods that are works in progress. And we will be here through the xpac for sure, continuing to improve each mod in the compilation.
