Ah right, I was thinking fumble. And now I see why you put impaired aim on it instead of fumble. Neat. It’s still a poor contender compared to other relics for those damage types though.
Also, removed Oblivion from the list.

I’d remove Primal Instinct and Necrosis from the list now that I’ve gotten some good feedback from others on them, but I’ve temporarily lost the ability to edit these threads or maybe they’ve gotten so old some auto archiving feature kicked in removing my ability to edit them.
Also @Chthon come back and abandon life like you said you were tempted to, so my threads can be more tested.
I’ve finished making all the threads now, see links at bottom of opening post.
Im still campaigning for necrosis to become an aura. Vit or chaos build inheritly has piano to play because they need to stack RR, keeping necrosis as a button feels unrewarding and gimps build like chaos EOR, chaos AAR or some auto attack builds because you’d be too busy pressing 4 or 5 buttons every few seconds than actually channeling your main damage. Having it as an aura would make builds smoother to play and become an alternative to ignaffar’s combustion, while also open up alot of opporunities for a variety of builds, which i think is important for relics without +1.
Removed Necrosis and Primal Instinct from the list. While pet players would still like Primal Instinct spawns to be a bit tankier and faster run speed (probably via better base resists), they seem to get the job done well enough.
Frankly I want the primal instinct chompers to get a leap attack !!!
As for Necrosis @sephelutis be that as it may it can be enjoyed on some vit builds for Shattered Realm 75 so regardless of one’s perspective on quality of life, it’s strong enough. That and some people like piano builds
I forgot to get to this on the forum, but since I did post about it in another thread, I might as well write something.
Dreeg’s Affliction Relic needs changes. The proc can be fun and it was tweaked? in one of the recent patches, but the base of the relic is really weak compared to other relics, even if it is only lvl 70.
In fact, lvl 70 is not really a valid excuse anymore…just need to look at Inquis’s Bane which has been boosted to a level where it rivals the lvl 90 Ignaffar’s Combustion.
Anyways, back to Dreegs Affliction:
It competes with deathstalker (RR, stun, speed, health, player-scaled pet), OK’s absolution (speed, retaliation, big shield + retal shield proc), Nightblades Nidlia’s Outbreak(+1, crit, DA, energy, aether, low cd nice proc) and Serenity (big defences, +1 all).
I think I overlooked it because I personally didn’t have enough experience with it and didn’t get enough feedback on it from others. Added Dreeg’s Affliction to list in opening post.
Ah man i really wanted another reliable chaos relic that isnt a pain to use. Outside of habringer’s niche build that includes the inquisitor class, chaos RR is so painful to come by. Then in the game theres corrupted + a certain mob that gives 130+ chaos res for some reason even though it is already a poor damage type…
Modified curse of fragility + solael’s flame and then necrosis feels so weird to cast, because your animation can get interupted if you cast too quickly then you have to re-do them. Thats not even counting in word of pain, defensive cooldowns, stuff to reliably trigger chaos RR devotion, stuff to reset hour glass, teleport and your actual attack… After a while fingers start to hurt.
I’ve seen some Pyrans putting on on Left Mouse Button as an autoattack-bound nuke. But otherwise demos already got so much piano issues that nobody uses this. The Nidalla solution would do nicely.
I would also like to propose lightning support even though it would make Ulzuin’s Pyroclasm a bit obsolete.
Nice solution for the Anatomy of Murder nostalgia. But in general relic is lacking and Nidalla will always win (though that da shred is powerful and generally underestimated especially for the oa starved). It should get what cold melee nighblades (read: infiltrators) really need: health, health and health (and acid res). Also, what’s up with max 94% cold? 120%, please.
I don’t understand what you’re trying to express but I’m going to go with: yes, I’ve made wonderful threads for a wonderful purpose and with the help of others we can test every item in an organized way. Feels epic.
